Well, we do show some ticker. There's something to work with, there's a team in there somewhere. But we shoot ourselves in the foot and we have zero attacking structure or composure.

But we're not a basket case. And that's something I guess.

The refereeing has been appalling. At least two penalties could have been given in that last set.

Utter bullshit.

In the end we still can't win a game because we simply cannot score a normal try from good field position. It's long range or kick or scrappy, but never ever a try from genuine attacking positions and creating numbers or doubt in the defensive line. Literally not once ever.

Yeah, usually I'm big enough to say that we should have been good enough to overcome the bad calls... but the game was in the balance there - and we were given no opportunity to win it. Disappointing, but I'm not really disappointed in the team tonight.

In the future we'll be a good enough team to beat the Dogs thoroughly if they play like that against us I hope, but we're not that team yet. We could have won tonight off our current ability if given the chance though, and that's what pisses me off.

I actually thought Eastwood was standing in front of Graham- should have been ruled offside?

Getting beat by 10 or less is better than 50 but it's still hard to take and doesn't help get us away from another spoon.

Trying to stay positive but we just don't take our scoring opportunities and the opposition seems to take every half chance to score against us.

I honestly do think we lost the match in the 40th minute. We weren't good enough to cope with the turnaround. We started the second half meekly.

For 39 minutes we were easily the better team, even on the wrong side of a bad penalty count we were looking more dangerous and creating chances but fluffing them. And then that last minute of Newcastle doing what we do.
