Last season 32 points was the cut-off for the 8.

Our points now = 4 ( needing 14 wins from the remaining 21 games )

We can only afford to lose 7 more games.

Remaining games in the draw ( top 8 from last year = 7 games )
Warriors - H
Storm - A
Panthers - H
Raiders - A
Brisbane - H
Panthers - A
Cronulla - A

And considering some other games like Manly Parra and even Wabbits if they get their act together.

I wonder if Alpha male DSaf has pulled the pack in for a coffee and serious chat - I think not.

* Correction we also have 2 byes = 4 points , but unless we pull the finger out we will start needing those byes to make the 8.

We only have 18 games left so it's more like 11 more wins/7 losses to match last year.

We’ll win. Canterbury are this year but still the weakest side we’ve played. If we start well I think we can do it comfortably.

Even with improvements the Dogs really can’t seem to handle our style of football…problem is though we’re not playing the style of football that was successful for us last season.

We can win and win well but if we go into the game with that one out shit and continue to not support second phase play we’ll lose. They’ll be keen to rectify their games against us last year.

This one if purely down to AOB. Virtually this same squad has shown they can put 66 on the Dogs. Not expecting a similar scoreline by any means, but if he gets them playing a similar style to when we came up against them last year, we can get the job done.

I’m pretty excited for this game either way. Either we win or we can give up on the season. To me this is a must win as if we can’t win this one there aren’t many more we will.

I'm gonna say it but I think Daniel Saifiti isn't good enough anymore and doesn't deserve a spot in the 17. Jacob is doing fine though.

Isnt providing value for money. He offers nothing.

No offloads, no tackle breaks, no intimidation, and on big money.

Isn't off contract until 2026 so another 2 1/2 years of accepting mediocrity and him eating up the cap. Better to move him on, and free up money to extend the likes of KPP and Leo ( both off contract 2025 )

Hopefully Gamble comes in and will Marzhew and Tuala change sides? Their left is potent and Tuala is the better defender.

Got to wonder why after 180 min of footy this season the coach swapped and changed the combo that won 10 games straight. He panicked, second guessed himself, and listened to outside noise.

Now he'll look a fool if he changes again, not to mention hamper what small progress the team has made.

If we were getting smacked every week or playing poorly, I could understand the concern, but if we play as we have the last month, we win this well. It is the combined small moments eg. where we give a leg up on poor kick chase which are killing us. Not the big ones. Look at the score lines. It is more frustrating knowing we could be five from 6.

But we've played poorly. Our wins are vs Storm reserves and Dragons in a swamp.
Other than that we got spanked by a mid-table-at-best Raiders side, lost to a Cowboys team who refuses to tackle and our best match was an 8 point loss.

The Dogs on the otherhand are improving while we're getting a bit stale.

Yeah I'm very worried about this game. It has loss written all over it. One team's on the up, one team is plodding along at best.
