The larger concern for us as a club is that another spoon year could mean we lose Ponga. The way he's playing right this second, that might not be a bad thing in isolation. It means we start from scratch again, though.

He’s under contract. He owes us to put the hard work to get us out of this hole.

Losing Ponga would mark the lowest point for the club and signal abject failure. I also don't think it would be the worse thing but the consequence is dire.

When is the last time we have run as hard and fast in our scoring 20 as the Sharks have today?
Quite a while. Wish someone at the club would take responsibility for motivating them to do so. The Captain and Coach both seem incapable.

Can't fault Ponga for not putting in today. He has been way more involved. Its not coming off, like the rest of the teams touches, but his effort today has been night and day compared to last week.

Yeah, he's definitely got a rocket over the week and he has responded. Thrown some shit passes, but he's in there fighting.
