I think Robson and Morts are playing a good foil to our main attacking strategy of 2nd phase play.

I worry that Keating and Mateo might overplay their hand and take control and screw up the synergies that we have built up.

Although, both of them will suit this type of play. Mateo the king of 2nd phase play and Keating the terry lamb of support.


I swear it feels like Deja Vu. Very much like 2006 when Brian left and JT took over and we zoomed to the finals just to miss out in the last match.

Back then, we had injury to our half and Jeremy Smith played a perfect foil. Tim came back and had to re fit in.

Now it's Robson with the possibility of KK coming back.

the moderation on these forums is a joke sometimes and is left to 1 moderators opinnion not as a collective group who makes the descison, and thats what is so stupid. I have had posts disapear before that left me scratching my head as to why? Because there was nothing wrong with my post what so ever that i could see. But hey i'm sure we all have.

Well, the rules are as you agreed to them when you joined the forum and in most cases it isn't just one moderators opinion. You;d be surprised at the amount of conversation the moderation creates.

As for the Coffs Harbour scandal, a number of players including Thurston were linked to the incident.

In all cases the information is common knowledge.

It is assumed that most people would be aware of such allegations. If they aren't and they feel there is a need there is a report function on every post.

There isn't any favourtism being handed out. Sure are a hell of a lot of people who don't like being moderated though.

Would you rather not have forum and turn it into a news feed?

All those articles have asked me to do is read between the lines...there is no connection of Thurston being an alleged??

And "Someone" did make some pretty damning claims in the "We Don't Want JT Thread".....I'm pretty sure Thurston was never charged with anything?

That's not the point. When you join the forum, you agree to the terms - one of which happens to be that you will source material as required.

If a moderator asks for a source, you, as a member of the site which agreed to abide by the rules, have to supply it.

Mateo back would be great.

I would like to see him come back through the bench and ask him to do the hard yards in defence only week 1. Probably replace Benny.

We all know KK is not far away and I don't want them both back on the same week unless coming off a loss.

I find it odd that lack of a source upsets the mods so much, but accusing players of everything under the sun seems acceptable - refer the 'We don't want JT' thread.

How many posters can substantiate the stuff they are accusing him of but it's all still there!!:?

lack of source upsets the site owners hence is covered in the forum guidelines, to which everyone had to agreed to abide by, otherwise they would not have access

the mods are there to police material that may cause litigation or libel to the forums to avoid LU ending up like a few other sites that were not sufficiently moderated and were closed down

if there is anything in the JT thread you feel is offensive, you are free to report it

also some people are just stating their opinions on JT, its the unsubtantaited allegation that are in breach

This is probably why grape doesn't post much, these forums are sometimes over policed.

This is so true,i got pulled up for using a swear word,yet i have seen mods use them and call people...swear names..it does seem there are rules for some and rules for others.?

I wouldn`t rush either of them back. I don`t think anybody is playing badly enough to be dropped. I think Ben Smith is just coming good, and to drop him now would be a serious error. I also think that if we suddenly dropped Robson for Keating, we might start leaking a lot of points. If Robson was just a bit more dynamic in attack or had an excellent kicking game, it would be a no brainer - you`d just keep him in the side. But the dilemma Anderson is faced with is: do you keep him for his incredible defense, or do you put in Keating for his better attack, with the thought that he might just absolutely ignite this team into the finals? Tough decision.

Me personally,even tho you dont like my opinions..i would have KK on the bench for his explosiveness in the later part of the season. Bring him on say the last 10 of first half,play the first 10 of second half,then back on with 15 to go,
