Indeed..
But people aren’t picking on his game involvement.. They’re picking on his errors and missed tackles.. Which aren’t the problem..
Just imagine the player he could be if he gets himself involved like Tedesco or completes kick returns like Nicholl-Klokstak..
Haven’t you heard of Fiji time? Not sure where you got 3 years younger?

What do you mean when you say his inability to set up his backline?Muzby, many have commented on his lack of physicality, lack of urgency and failure to back up. As well as his poor defence, positioning, poor kick returns, poor catching and inability to set up his backline.
Just imagine if he was 2 seconds faster over the 100m, 30 kilos of muscle bigger and had some aggression. But he's not and he doesn't play like Tedesco, TVS, or Nicholl-Klokstak.
He is a major problem in the make up of our team and until we have a top class fullback we will struggle.

The vast majority of tries scored against us this season have been via our RHS defence.. Does Dufty suffer from some kind of Zoolander-esq affliction?Muzby, many have commented on his lack of physicality, lack of urgency and failure to back up. A 120kg fullback would be a waste. Play him in the centres if he was that big and quick..Just imagine if he was 2 seconds faster over the 100m, 30 kilos of muscle bigger and had some aggression.
Disagree.. He’s a soft target for frustrated fans who are looking to point the finger to start feeling better..He is a major problem in the make up of our team and until we have a top class fullback we will struggle.
Why shouldn’t the last pass be considered a try assist? Two try assists this year and one of those was an overlap where it was catch the ball with no pressure and pass to an unmarked player. This is still good play but it should not be considered a try assist just because its the last pass in the play.
I’m not a Kiwi nor your bro so back to the topicDo you even read the thread, bro?
Apologies to you as no doubt you do wear your heart on your sleeve and express your disappointments but many don’t have the same understanding or passion thus my post.Hey man, leave us alone.
I started watching in the 90s and the state of our club kills me.
No.This time please answer the questions and not deflect or dance around them.
And you wonder why people have a go at you and call you a name or two,No.
You didn’t say pretty please.

Unfortunately for him he put the target on himself with his performance, and subsequent comments about the fans, against the bulldogs last year..
I don’t wonder at all..And you wonder why people have a go at you and call you a name or two,
Why shouldn’t the last pass be considered a try assist?
Even in a 2 on 1 situation, a poorly timed pass to the outside man can result in the play being shut down..
So if his poor positioning is leading to opposition tries, why aren’t we seeing more tries scored in the centre or LHS of the field?Sorry, I didn't realise in our team that tries down the RHS means it lets the fullback off the hook for not being in position or making no effort.
Watch the tide turn when we start winning..Soft target is right, thats how the opposition attackers see him not the fans. The posters on here argued strongly to give him a chance to address his shortcomings and over 40 first grade games later he hasn't improved.
Feel free to mark these down over the next couple of matches..If thats all there is to a try assist, then to be consistent we should give him a negative try assist for the times he has crowded the backline, thrown a bad pass and not given it to his outside men when a try was on. He would end up with a try assists number in negative double figures.
