Why? All that will do is show me that after giving him more chances and 50 first grade games he still hasn't improved.
At the moment all I’m hearing are opinions but these don’t match up with my observations nor the statistics..

Happy to try to be convinced otherwise, and for that I’d need to see some numbers..

Dufty like Aitken and Rein .. Another player with one very strong aspect in their game and a bunch of weaknesses ... It is right to give them 40 odd games to see their development but like Aitken and Rein his weaknesses are laid bare for all to see.

The game on the weekend is a great example .. the errors at the back but the speed for the try.

I doubt he will be given another contract with us. We can do better.

Last year it was obvious .. Against top teams his strengths are negated - a patient set line negates him.
This year he is worse .. less effective in attack as teams know to present him with a set line and slide with him. He would destroy Aitken of course but he doesnt get to play us. Perhaps he gets picked so often because he faces Aitken in opposed sessions ;-)

Right now there is nothing Dufty does that Field couldnt do either but Field ball in hand has better passing instincts.

What exactly are your observations on Dufty because you seem to rely on statistics only as you continually avoid any scrutiny of his actions on the field?

PS .. Even though i think Field is equivalent or better than Dufty i think we need better than both at fullback ... Neither of them can compare to the likes of Tommy T, Teddy, Ponga, RTS, CNK etc etc

He has a terrible haircut.
Your buffoonery gets stronger when you have no legitimate answers to perfectly reasonable questions.
You are just like coach as you both consistently paint yourselves into corners with consummate ease.

And conversely, at the moment all i'm hearing are you're opinion which doesn't match up with my observations and statistics..

I see no statistics from you though..

As I said, happy to be proven wrong if I can see concrete data that shows me otherwise..

I understand where you're coming from, I also wanted him to be a superstar and couldn't wait to see him given his initial run in first grade.

I doubt he will see this contract thru.

I really want Dufty to do well but it's baffling that some can't see his shortcomings. Last week he twice fell badly for dummies as the last line of defence. Not "missed tackles" as such but terrible reads in defence that you'd hope someone is working on with him. Add the two dropped kicks and does a try really make up for it?
I think you answered your own question!!!!!!!

Indeed..

But people aren’t picking on his game involvement.. They’re picking on his errors and missed tackles.. Which aren’t the problem..

Just imagine the player he could be if he gets himself involved like Tedesco or completes kick returns like Nicholl-Klokstak..
So his errors & missed tackles aren't the problem ????
That's the whole point of us who think he's not up to it.
As Fatty would say, "that'll do me"

Just imagine the player he could be if he was someone else ... I think that's what Muzby is trying to say.
