yay 100 post on this thread.
Im so proud.
Im so proud.
broham has no idea his stories in the western weekender constantly throw rumours up that are wrong. He had fitzgibbon as a done deal. But thats what make his articles interesting you just never know :lol::lol:
Haha Brohman, who could ever forget about this time last year when he ripped off my stuff from PI
What i posted on PI:
Lachlan Coote and Greg Waddell well done! What makes it more amazing is
that both these guys are in Year 11!
Wade Graham,Michael Mate,Lancen Joudo and Daniel Penese missed out. I
expect all four of them to figure in our Flegg campaign though, all are
also capable of making first grade at this club. Wade Graham will get his
chance next year he is only 16 and in year 11, so i expect to see him in
next year's national side.
Back to Waddell and Coote, both are having outstanding seasons for the
club, especially Coote.
So far in 07 for Coote:
-Top try-scorer in SG Ball
-SG Ball player of the year(under 18's comp,Coote is Under 17's)
-2 try's for NSW and Man of the Match against QLD under 17's
-One game of Flegg, scoring a try on debut
Waddell scored a hat-trick of try's for NSW this year, i expect him to
move into the backrow as he develops, a position where he played in our
successful Harold Matthews team last year.
I expect Waddell and Coote along with Graham to lead our SG Ball side to a
premiership in 08'.
What Daryl Brohman Reported in the Western Weekender
Penrith is renowned for its ability to produce high quality juniors and
two more have stamped their kit bags budding first graders. Lachlan
Coote (fullback) and Greg Waddell (centre) have been selected in the
Australian schoolboys squad. Both Waddell and Coote are having outstanding
seasons for the club, especially Coote. So far in 07 Coote was the top
try-scorer in SG Ball, was the SG Ball player of the year (under 18s
comp, Coote is Under 17s), scored two tries for NSW and won the Man of
the Match against QLD in the under 17s. Waddell scored a hat-trick of
tries for NSW this year, and those in the know can see him ending up in
the backrow as he matures.
Wing was qouted in a story before the start of the season saying, basically, he was within a bees penis of signing with penrith and it was only a last minute call from Russell that stopped him signing
here Is A Story On Elliott In The Local Penrith Press

Under The Hammer

matt Elliott Is Under Presure As Coach Of The Panthers.
Storm Clouds Are Forming Over Matt Elliott's Coaching Career After Penrith's Humiliating 62-point Flogging By The Raiders Last Weekend.
Elliott Will Go To Sleep Tonight With The Knowledge That If Penrith Fail To Beat The Bulldogs Tomorrow Night, Their Season And Possibly His Job, Are On The Line.
Panthers Ceo Mick Leary Described The Loss To The Raiders As "embarrassing" And The Situation Heading Into Tomorrow's Match As "desperate". "it Was The Worst Defeat In Our Club's History And A Great Shock," He Told The Press This Week. "we Now Desperately Need To Win On Saturday To Remain A Chance Of Making The Finals."
The Loss To Canberra Sent The Panthers Tumbling Out Of The Top Eight, From Seventh To 11th On The Competition Ladder And Has Led To Speculation Elliott Will Be The One Held Accountable If The Panthers Continue To Fall.
While Mathematically Penrith Can Still Make The Eight If They Lose To The Bulldogs, They Play Melbourne, The Warriors Away And Then Manly In Their Final Three Matches As Part Of A Horror Run Home.
Leary Told The Press He'd Prefer To Worry About The Future When The Final Eight Is Decided But It Is Clear The Club Is Not Happy With The Performance Of The Team Or The Coaching Staff. Addressing The Media At Cua Stadium On Monday Morning, Leary Said There Was Now Pressure On The Coaching Staff To Improve The Panthers Position.
its no secret wing was close to signing bar one part of the contract panthers could not full fill. Wing wanted mirrors placed on every corner so he could look at himself.Penrith council considered this a safety issue and would not allow it
That almost life sized pic of Elliott's scone shook me out of any sleepiness I may have had on my lazy Saturday morning...
Whose getting carried away with the win?
We were playing the bulldogs who are like a nsw cup side. It was good to win by a big score and Jennings had a great game in particular but next week we play the benchmark and we have nothing to lose as noone will be tipping us.
