It was f**ked up, no doubt.

I just hope the parent's comments are posturing and they're not actually telling him that he'll be traumatised for life.

Kids are resilient. He'll be sweet

You are a piece of pure gutter trash.
Then advocating its only the SJW's that have a problem with your garbage nature.

I haven’t been loose at all. My comments/opinions are no different to plenty of others.
As for your question, if justice was an apology, a jail sentence or money then whatever is decided would be some form a closure. That’s all I could ask for.

Would the money make it better for you?
fair enough

funnily enough , I think genuine remorse would mean more to me
money doesn't make you happy

Knowing that what happened was very ordinary. Out of curiosity, why is every one so upset now? Is if because he didn’t go to jail, allegedly hasn’t made an attempt at payment or is it because some see playing in the nrl as a privilege?

The victims are only limited to whats available to them civilly so its a bit stupid having a go at them for wanting the judgment imposed. You bet your arse $ = closure.

Obviously they werent happy with the suspended gaol term and community service. Who would?

it isn't an aspect of justice we're used to tho in Australia
making financial gain out of a crime
so our legal system says no , $ does not equal closure

you are entitled to be compensated for medical expenses & loss of income etc
but thats it
our courts would laugh at a claim of 1.6 million in compensation
because its absurd.

Yeah you’re right, read a lot of the crap in hear, felt uncomfortable writing anything, still read in hear a lot & not that you’re having a go at me but certainly not a friendly bunch
You’ll just have to harden up according to Tommy Smith. It works for 9y/olds apparently.

What's your view?

I think he’s a grub, although I don’t know whether that should disqualify him from playing in the nrl. If you want him to make amends, payment wise, it may be the only place he can. I probably won’t ever cheer for anything he does but I do hope he has a good career and repays the faith that the nrl have put in him

A complete and utter fabrication of my stance.

But that's the way people debate these days.

I simply stated that the parents taking the view that they'll all be traumatised for life might not be the best way to overcome their traumatic experience.

And in response everyone loses their minds and has a big cry. What a time to be alive.
