The only female on the program, Sydney Morning Herald journalist Jacquelin Magnay, said the least sensible thing about the entire Johns affair. "We are judging a 2002 incident on 2009 values," she said. In case she has forgotten, 11 men on one woman has not been OK for centuries, let alone the past seven years. Who on earth put the normally strongly feminist Magnay up to that?

My response to the article was "John's actions 7 years ago were not a crime. Sex between 12 consenting adults of any gender mix is not a crime. Drink Driving is." No chance of that being posted...
