Matty Johns wants to change the interchange rule

I'd rather an interchange than subs. It gives more flexibility to the coach.

Coaches like having options. It makes their lives easier. That doesn't always make for a better game. The unlimited interchange was a mistake and changed the game for the worse. By all means go to 8 changes per game or less and make the attributes of endurance and fitness more important. The force of collisions will be less but the game would still be entertaining, if not more so. 1997 grand final is a great example.
