If you had to pick which one to keep out of Robson or McInnes right now, who would you pick?

Both but if you had say one Robson but is he ready for 80mins each week nrl level.
I don't think so .
So there is the problem. Move hunt there then his poor defence will be exposed. He is not a 80 minute middle player. Maybe 20 mins per half but not 80.
McInnes has been made a offer so has Robson.

Someone on jub ave said 9. Robson 14. Segeyaro

Could go part way to transitioning Robson to 80

Not ideal - but with Robson off contract we can’t keep both if both want 9

If this has any legs then we may see the result in the CS today.
Who will start?
Who will play more minutes?
Who will play in alternative positions? Ie: Mcinnes at lock or Robson in the 2nd row.
Also, the impact each has on the team during their spells.

What's Parramatta's obsession with signing our hookers Steve Edge, Mark Riddell, Cameron King & now Possibly Cameron McInnes of all the above mentioned this one would hurt the most absolute champion player and proven Robson despite the hype is not proven.

I'd rather SGI keep Robson even if it means losing McInnes. With the replacement of De Belin and the proposed replacement of McInnes, I'm sure we will maintain our defensive capability in the Middle.
  • Frizell for De Belin
  • Robson for McInnes
I think we will do fine.

I actually trust whatever Millward does.
He has a good record of getting it right with us so I'm comfortable with whatever his plans are.
Yea, extending Aitken and Lafai long term has been great.

If thats the worst thing he's done then thats a pretty good record.
Look at all the positives! He has brought some amazing players to the club and got rid of some rubbish just at the right time.
Where are they now?
Dugan (no longer a rep player)
Milne (still yet to play any NRL)
Packer (plodding with tigers?)
Thompson (no longer talked about for rep honours)

Positives
Realising potential-
Paul Vaughan signed from the mounties now a walk up starter to Blues team.
Cameron McInnes unwanted by bunnies now a top line hooker in demand.
Tariq Sims now an origin player.

Big names lured to club
BEN HUNT
JAMES GRAHAM
COREY NORMAN
KORBIN SIMS

Plus he has done a good job of retaining guys like DUFTY and LEILUA.

But yeah, he's doing a terrible job because he has resigned 2 mediocre centres for a year or two too long.

I'm glad you recognise the mistake in extending Aitken and Lafai. I do agree with much of what you say however, we don't need Maranta, Allgood or Latimore and could have tried more to keep about 3 good juniors who moved on at the end of last season.

Latimore had a good season last year and adds value to the team culture.
Allgood is just depth as is Maranta.
I like to be positive possm.
I doubt you will sing Millwards praises if Ravalawa turns out to be a gun? I doubt you will be saying great job Millward if Corey Norman has the season of his life?
Will you?

Those 3 would at best take up 400k of our cap and as far as 3 good juniors leaving the club time will tell if this turns out the same scenario as the Milne , Dugan & Hutchison let go's.

If you read my previous posts I am a great fan of the two new wingers, Pearson and Ravalawa, I also like the recruitment of K Sims, Kerr, Timm and Backer. I am really glad that Millward recruited Norman. So there you go.

My biggest beef about Millward is the way he was appointed to the job and the change in the structure of the position. Millward belongs to a faction within the Club and the 'old boys club'. I do not believe this to be healthy for the Club as most decisions are made with factional deals and the needs of the old boys club to the fore rather then the best interests of SGI.

Which 3 Possm should they have kept. I know you have a passion for Herbert..but who are the other 2.
I hope you dont mean Johns and Garrick. If you had watched some ISP games last year and Flegg we have better in there positions coming through. All 3 of them. Have I missed someone you would of liked to of kept.
