7 at best, maybe 8 on a good day. We have just lost 3 golds (4 if you include us choking the equestrian overnight) that we would have banked on with Larkin and Seebolm's shockers as well as the mens hockey playing like a bunch of drunks. Then you have the 100m men where Nathan Adrian is a massive threat, and the only one I can bank on the swimming is Larkin in the 200m back. Womens medley relay is a chance but the US will go close there. Can't see us winning much outside the pool. Traditionally we have been good at cycling but only Meares is a good chance and sprints are lottery as Victoria Pendleton found out in 2012, World Champion unbackable favourite, gets rolled in the final by Meares. The other races the Brits and the Dutch are good in. I have us winning a couple on the water, the mens 4 and Kim Brennan in the single sculls, and we might pick up a sailing gold, but that is about it.

Katinka Hosszu and hence Hungary win more gold in the pool than Australia.

We're back to 5th now with 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze.

NZ are back in 31st with 2 silver but still have "Super Saturday" to come!

Jezz... We are looking pretty sad with our two silvers... Lol

I think we still have the rowing team to come who should at least get a couple of golds...

Valerie Adams is going for her 3rd consecutive gold medal in the shot put...

We have some young sailor's who are kickass...

And Lydia Ko is the dominant world number 1 for woman's golf... But mind you... Golf is a tricky sport to win individually...

Murray and Bond are simply astonishing - NEVER been beaten at any regatta in this event - 8 years, nearly 70 races... they came out of a world champion 4 that crashed at the Olympics, and simply haven't lost since...

Bond is the unsung hero - he's possibly the world's best - beat Drysdale (both were a bit underdone) in the singles once or twice too - Murray's the outspoken one, so gets most the media attention

We're starting to get a few medals together now a couple of golds and we will really move up the table.

On another topic why does alien use this forum? He's not safe from being made to look a twat anywhere.

As it should, considering it's wealth and population...challenging the other big boys yet?

GB will likely get more golds than Australia and NZ combined.
Wow... GB have a population of 60M compared to NZ's 4M...

Not to mention a GDP of 2.6 trillion compared NZ's 173 billion...

I think you better be setting your sights a little higher than us or even the Aussies..
