Kleenex living up to his name.

Honestly, the bloke is beyond precious and typifies India so well in that regard.

Wish he was a Twatto or Darsh type in terms of his scoring ability.

... and just to bite on the trolling a bit, that Australian side that lost 0-4 in India was the worst they fielded in decades in conditions that made Ashwin and Dhoni suddenly deadly.

If Australia toured there now I would vouch it won't be 0-4 again.

This.

When you have Watson captaining the baggy green, Xavier Doherty tossing up more pies than Four N Twenty, playing on pitches that was more akin to Roland Garros in Paris (with groundsmen selectively watering certain parts of the pitch before days play), selecting only one frontline spinner in a test where India played three (come on guys! BIG HINT right there to play more than one spinner, given they - playing at home - would understand their own conditions better than anyone. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. In one of the test matches, India didn't bowl a fast bowler until the 75th over IIRC), not selecting players because they didn't hand in their homework outside of a cricket match, and wait for it (this one takes the cake).....Glen Maxwell opening the batting and bowling in a test match:lol::lol::lol:, you know you're in trouble. The coach and then-selection panel had absolutely no idea what they were doing and during their tenure, were handing out baggy green caps like cricket cards from a Weet-Bix box. We will definitely not lose 4-0 if Lehmann is still coach on our next tour over there in early 2017.

That tour of India was where we hit rock bottom. Like Murphy's law says, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Everything about that tour was a disaster from to start to finish, the lowest we had been since our disasterous 2010/11 home Ashes series, where we lost 3 tests by an innings and got rissoled for less than 100 on Boxing Day.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Johnson having a shy at the stumps with Kohli having taken a step out of his crease.

Behind only Smith, Kohli is the player of this series. But geez, he can have a whinge.

The real story of the day.

Will anyone top Glenn Maxwell's dismissal from last night?

if only we could catch we would be in a much better position, only ourselves to blame

apparently Boof gave the boys a rocket last night after the game

Notch's form is a bit of a concern for mine, when he was getting belted he just kept bowling short as that used to be his go to ball, but when it doesn't work, he has no idea what to do next, he never really considered going for top of off stump or even a few pitched up swinging yorkers, doesn't seem to have between his ears

Notch had some catches dropped from his bowling, things could have been very different for him had we taken a couple, but credit to India, they made him and Australia pay.

Thing is , we can still have a 50-60 run lead if we get these last two wickets quick. Maybe another opportunity to declare over night setting up yet another brilliant day 5??

I thought the story of the day yesterday was Warnie only rating Gilchrist as third in the the best keeper list. Labelled Healy "everybody's choice" for 1st with Haddin coming in second. lol. Warney is such a bitch. On the BBL coverage the Ch 10 guys then engineered a look at the wicket keepers list and gave Gilchrist a chance to comment on his record. He responds by saying his biggest accomplishment was being able to keep to Shane Warne. "I missed a couple from him, but I took a few as well." All class.

Shouldn't surprise us that Warne has no class. Gutter agendas is what the tool is all about

There might be an unwritten rule about leaving in on the field in there somewhere. Standing up is great stuff and is very Australian, boasting about standing up in the press conference is very Indian.

Poor fielding let us down on a very good wicket, kholi while a douche is world class. Johnson has gone back to being the dangerous but inconsistent bowler he has always been. No way was he keeping that sort of form up forever.

Yeah that was the really dumb spell I was talking about. He bowled about four bouncers in a row to rahane who belted all of them. Johnson is obviously pretty dumb.

I can forgive it because he's a strike bowler but it's frustrating watching him bowl like an idiot on a flat pitch.

For the record I don't mind Warne when he's talking cricket but he's so often pushing some agenda from a million years ago you have to question if he's not the most bitter man in the world. Yeah we get it you don't like Gilchrist and Waugh. Get over it warney.

Wasn't Smith calling the Indians whingers and complainers in a press conference mere days ago?

No surprises he also found time to bag Steve Waugh again yesterday, great great bowler but an absolute wankstain of a human being. Terrible commentator as well.

Really need him off the TV tbh. Waugh and Gilchrist have integrity and dignity, and both seem rather good humans. As you say, Warne is dimply a geniused merkin
