They interviewed price on triple mmm...he sounded shattered. ..

Another thing...we apparently finished the game with 12 men according to triple mmm..

The effort was there but execution at times very poor. The concerning thing is the storm have been playing extremely poor all season, but it only took 15 mins of half decent footy to put us away....

These are the type of matches where a quality hooker and half can steer the team to a win, but our spine is still not good enough for a serious top 8 team...

Honestly Mickey, the way I'm feeling right now is like I couldn't care less about watching another footy game. Decisions like this cost us the game and then a day or 2 later someone will come out and say that the ground staff go it wrong and that the dragons should of won. Well that would be like a massive kick in the gutts to us.

Why not get it right while the game was still on and award the game to the team who deserved it more. Just shocking.

And the nrl is asking why are they down on crowd attendance :crazy:

x2....We played very well. Good to see Rein play the full 80 minutes. Funny how Kyle wasn't on the bench. We could have used him at right centre tonight after Farrell and Thompson were injured

I wish people would realize that in this day and age this is just how Rugby League is. The Dragons march down the field pretty easily at times too. The 7th tackle crap rule doesn't help the situation. The NRL is becoming more and more about entertainment to try and stop the bleeding as far as crowds. Well it isn't helping. We will likely never see a premiership winning side again like the Dragons of 2010 that did it with defense.

You make some excellent points, but I still feel that the opposition are rolling through us more effectively on a consistent basis. You're point about the game being geared towards entertainment is a valid one. I do like the 7 tackle ruling though in the sense that kicking has to be more precise and that teams are a realistic chance of scoring from the 22m tap.

I agree with Melbourne's hooker and half getting up in games. That sort of experience and skill level is unmatched.

Gutted by the loss but pleased to look forward to next week.

I thought we played pretty well tonight and we lost cos the last play the ball happened after the clock hit 80mins. That's disgraceful and the exact same thing happened last week when Manly scored after half time against the Tigers. FFS the video ref has to be able to call if a play happened after the siren. Would it be unreasonable to have the siren go off in the refs ear piece??? The NRL is responsible for not finding a solution after last week.

1. Dugan was onside for that try as his foot had not hit the ground at the time the ball was kicked so the rear foot is the position used.

2. I watched us get penalized for being slow off the tackled player and there was no way it deserved a penalty then I watched Melb lay on us literally twice as long and no penalty forthcoming

3. We can't slow the play the ball down to get both markers on their feet cos we get penalized every time.

4. I watched in horror in the last few mins as 3 of our players got up and ran back onside with their backs to the play and Melb made a break straight past them.

5. People get off Reins back, he played pretty well and saved tries with his defence. Yes occasionally he is indecisive but that's the least of our problems.

All in all I dont think we had a bad player and it was an improved performance
