At least we're competitive this year, got some very handy players who are improving week to week. A decent forward or two and we can give it a shake. I'm gutted but all is not lost.
Only got to listen on the radio and the most noticeable thing was again the ease with which the opposition rolled up the field. NRL Stats says we only missed 11 tackles but but that doesn't sound right. We really have to work on that.

A much better effort tonight, but I must admit when we got to 24 to 10 I still wasn't convinced.....there was a period after that when the boys went to sleep and played some negative football.....I will be watching the replay at some stage (not at the moment I'm still seething) as I'm sure the Melbourne player played the ball after the siren had sounded.....as for Warren Smith he was so against the Dragons it wasn't funny and tried to go against any thing that went our way.....problem was he ended up with a Storm win unfortunately....anyhow imo we were the better side on the night BUT still we need to compete for the full 80.

Aye. I was furious and calling every storm pass forward and every tackle an afront to justice but its the 2 easy tries that we gave away that cost us not the last 10 minutes. Imagine the same game but with a bit of Friz and Debelin. Im crushed but feeling hopeful. Beats going down in a landslide

Honestly Dino, your a fruit loop. We win tonight I bet my life that your mouth is shut and you would have nothing to say. How can you fault the effort the boys put in.

They played awesome. Full credit to them. It's just sheer bad luck or dumb referring decisions that costed us tonight. For me, the siren was blown. Am i being one eyes or biased to say that. My turning point for the night is when thompson left the field. This result Is so heartbreaking because the boys played awesome. I hate it when we play well and lose. But that's footy.

To me price has chosen the right team and should stick with this team. Absolutely heart broken but proud.

14 up, was nervous as all hell, as soon as they scored, I saw the tide turn, they were on a roll and we were on back foot with decent defence, but that last try, 80 mins, sirens blared, then play the ball, meanwhile video ref already at home in PJ's, fun Warren Smith and his freaked Hoodoo, and the very unbiased comments, " thy champs are coming".....made me sick!

We played that last 10 like school kids. Gees we will be mentally scared after that.
But what's worse is that we got the complete rub of the green. And the storm were crap (until they smashed us in the last 10). But seriously Dugan was off side... Hands down. We got that call. Then slater didn't knock on...cronk pass wasn't forward... All this and we still get beaten. I expected widdop to lead is out of that and take control. f**k me that one hurts

I agree with this. That's exactly what we did. Our urgency in decency was terrible when storm shifted it wide.
