And in 2011 they were run away minor premiers just like in 06-08, thus proving that no matter how much Melbourne pays their players they'll still dominate the rest of the comp.

Most of the top teams won't. Roosters were diabolical today, Titans are terrible every week, Rabbitohs are up and down but were pretty damn ordinary against the Storm, Raiders is the only game that they've been challenged.

The competition is fundamentally weak this year, but you can't judge the storm one way or the other until they actually come up against decent competition.
