You're not a Kearney member. If you were you would have noticed Pou Pou on the card.

How do you know Poupou and Lasalo aren't the same person... Isn't Lasalo injured for roughly for the same time that Poupou will be absent from the forum...

Got my pack and Membership card today.

One of the Other people on our Membership that is renewed jointly received their Pack yesterday and almost threw out the most important part, the Membership card.

Just wondering, we got Mick Cronin on our Membership cards. I would guess that depending on your membership level you would get a different person?

Mine has Hayne.

Yeah, I'm waiting on mine too. Got an email a while back saying it would be 20 days, when other people here had got emails saying 7 days... so I wasn't too worried.

Just checked that tracking website, and says it was dispatched 19/2 with estimated 7-10 days until delivery...so if it's not here by Monday I'll be on the phone!

Just wondering what everyone who hasnt got their membership pack yet and is complaining about it are wanting to use it for between now and Saturday week?

I have one of my two already and apart from sticking the card in my wallet so my daughter doesnt lose it, I dont plan to do anything with it until 5pm Saturday 9th March. So as long as my other one arrives by the 8th of March... sweet.

No point ringing, emailing and hassling the membership department until you dont have it in time.

I think they do have the right to ring up and complain, we are nearly a week away from kick off.

Should they just sit and wait till 5:30 on Saturday before speaking up?

The membership department has been piss poor for a few years now and it looks like it just gets worse. IMO the packs and cards should be sent and finalised by the end of January early February.

I agree with ya.

I'm all for backing the club, but it's gone beyond ridiculous.

Apparently Pou Pou has been put in charge of the mailouts bart. So you should expect yours to arrive sometime in mid October.

I am in a bit of an arsehole mood this morning so don't take it personally, but...

I think they do have the right to ring up and complain, we are nearly a week away from kick off.
Again I ask, Why? Why does it matter if you dont get them till the day before kick-off? What are you planning to do with them before then?

Should they just sit and wait till 5:30 on Saturday before speaking up?
Don't think I said wait until 5.30pm Saturday so no, they shouldn't just sit and wait till then. But ringing the club on Monday to be told that the expected delivery is 2-3 days away and then having it arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday doesn't achieve much does it? It is not like they are sitting there in the office waiting for you to ring before the team post them out.

The membership department has been piss poor for a few years now and it looks like it just gets worse. IMO the packs and cards should be sent and finalised by the end of January early February.
See here we differ - I have had nothing but good experiences in person, via email or on the phone with our membership department in 8 years of being a STH. 3 weeks ago I changed one of my 2 seats to the one on the other side all in a 5 minute (or less conversation) so I dont see a problem with the membership department.

And why would they order from the suppliers the stock 3 months before they are needed? The right thing to do is maximise the order quantity (and hopefully reduce the cost) by waiting as late as possible and following Just In Time supply chain processes like most businesses these days.

Crikey . It's all about getting the ticket in your hands and knowing that you won't have to go through an ordeal with them on Thursday or Friday.

As I said, if the pack/ticket comes in today or tomorrow's mail, one week before the first event I'm a happy person. If not, then I'm on the phone because it's not good enough and I want surety about my ticket and entry to the first event next Saturday.

Getting tickets to people isn't rocket science - other clubs seem to manage it well in advance of ours. Other events and ticket sellers (eg Ticketek etc) manage it well in advance on a very regular basis - no-one is left having paid out for something and then wondering/hoping they get some decent proof or the actual product so close to the event. I'm hoping we aren't satisfied with this, and by making enquiries of the club re ticket whereabouts within one week of Round 1 can help them to register the issue and seek to make further improvements for this time next year.

So if there are say several hundred people who for whatever reason don't get it by Saturday, they should all wait til say lunchtime Friday and then ALL try and contact the club at the same time to find out what needs to be done? .... and the club will have to have people available to take every call and sort something out within 24hrs for every single one of them?

Sounds great :thumn ..... and i'm sure that would all go sooooo smoothly .... I'm a massive fan of having a massive issue to deal with at the 11th hour

seriously .... it should all be sorted out at least a month in advance, so the issues that will happen (nothing is perfect) can be sorted out in a timely manner, without the poor membership staff having to handle a bucketload of concerned people at the absolute last minute

Seriously, I was a non ticketed member from 2006 until 2010. In 2011 I decided not to renew after they didn't call me back. I've given up waiting.

I will give Ken his dues. He ha been working to fix things up. I have read alot of complaints on twitter that he has been working on. I'm sure things will improve next year.
