Cool! I guess that's why the heritage strips aren't on sale

I'd prefer them to leave that logo untouched anyway

Interesting bits I've noticed upon first glance.

1. Presentation night is no longer included in the platinum membership
2. BGA Squad is still going to be in the Sterling Terrace

I have reserved the whole of Bay 62 in the Eastern Terrace for The Swarm. We will be calling this The Swarm Bay and we will be trying to create as much atmosphere there as possible. If anyone wants to Swarm with fellow passionate and vocal Eels supporters and still have a great view of the replay screen etc then join in. All you need to do is ask for Bay 62 and the rest will be taken care of. Warning. You may be surrounded by lots of vocal supporters on their feet for most of the game , singing chants loudly and waving Flags on mass.

Little bit off topic: i just called the BGA store to order a Hertiage Jersey 2010. they are on special for $100.00. they also have buy 1 get 1 free.

The hertiage jersey from this year looks very similar to the 2011 jersey.

Score.

I hope it works for you TB.

Also, on the site and in the booklet it states that Membership represents 30% off regular tickets. So with our prices going up you would have to think walk up tickets are going up as well. Based on the 2010 walk up prices available on the website, the only people to get 30% off are Cronin Concessions, All others are Under 29% and some as low as 17%.

Yeah I know TB, so you keep saying.... but this is how it's going in the brochure... So you are seperating the BGA squad from 'The Swarm'??? Otherwise I'm confused.

This is not something organized by the club. It has been organized by us. However, a rose by any other name is still a rose. As something new like The Black Hole or The Kennel we have chosen The Swarm because that's what a group of Eels are called. I tried in vain to get this done from the top down so have had to work from the grass roots up. Those of us who have come together on this so far have agreed to let each other stand where we like in the bay etc. Through co operation and unity we can achieve what we are aiming for here.

So what....have you quarantined a bay?

Surely if you guys are planning on standing wherever you want, you can't just do it off your own bat? Not having a shot at you, but what happens with existing ticket holders or people who buy a walk up ticket for that bay?

Yeah I just don't see how you have reserved a bay without being around STH's?? I'm not trying to have a shot I'm just trying to figure out how it's working... for example if you infiltrated the bay I sit in without me knowing when I renewed, I wouldn't be happy.

And in turn, it's going to suck for the punters who purchase tickets in that bay for the one-off games etc

I don't understand how you could have reserved a bay which has reserved seating, and of which people from last year will renew their seating from this season just gone? What Fishy and Guru makes sense, while it's good idea you're more than likely to face difficulties with this and piss a lot of people off in the process too.

There are no STHs in bay 62 from last year. There are no STH in the bay above it either. There were rows of seats available in bay 63 but I decided against it so as to not upset those already there. If we do not fill the whole bay our reserved seats will start from the back going forward so that no one is upset with us standing. I hope this has cleared up a few valid questions you have raised.

fair enough, good luck with it. It's a pity it conflicts with what the brochure is advertising because it sounds like your idea is a better option.

Now on my login it's not coming up with any of my memberships and I want to request another one!! Anyone got any ideas on what I should do? Email the club?

Yes it does. But if you want to be able to vote on who controls the NRL side you'd better sign up to Parramatta Leagues too.

Am a Perpetual Member of the Leagues Club. Have been for years. Took it out when the $100 life time membership included a $50 voucher in the Heritage Restaurant.

Thanks

I use to have seats L128 and L129 in the Thornett Stand from 1986 when the joint opened. They were great seats. Wish I still had them.

I have tried for most of the year to get this to be an 'official' supporters bay but the girls in the office were given no instructions to do anything by those they work for (the same people who promised me that they would look into it). This was my only option so I am following it through. If they won't do it I will.

The club probably wouldn't be interested unless it had a certain high number of season ticketholders in that bay or were guarenteed the bay would sell out each and every week. Which it wouldn't.
