Well the only real protest is not to buy the fekkin' thing. To be honest I usually buy the new style jerseys simply because I collect them.

If I weaken and buy this abomination it won't even find it's way onto a coat hanger like the others. It's abhorrent. It's old fashioned. It's amateurish. It's ugly and it's not the Sharks. The grey pajama's were even better than this.

I won't buy it.

I wont buy any jersey that I believe is just put together to make money and not to represent the farkin club it is suppose to portray.

Its not meant to be a fashion parade of this years newest winter range. It is meant to be a cronulla sutherland jersey.

I know I lost the plot years ago with the league, but sh!t this crap annoys me. It wasn't long ago that everyone was raving about the sharks jersey and about time they started wearing the jersey style that everyone associated with the sharks. Even our enemies liked the jersey...... now........ now its back to the start of the annual revolving dish up of crap.

Farkkkkkkk em.

I bought the 78 retro last year... that'll do me till it fades or gets covered in grass stains... Only seem to get them at night these days though. The tackles are softer but the opposition is prettier.

What is the point in voting Bro.

We nearly get it right and what happens.

Some limp wristed pounce will design a grovier wack a doey lil outfit next year that will have a couple more swirls here and there and some really cute colour combos that will send the boyz off into a frenzy. (sorry Cap'n not into you)

Narrhhhhhhh I repeat my previous statement from the floor, "farkkk em"

Cheers

God that's awful. Please tell me you're all joking. Why did we need a new home strip anyway - with a new sponsor coming the jumper would have changed and the fans would have bought it as a "new" one anyway

FWIW, the heritage one for me too ...

Hang on. Hang on.

I get the impression that the above jersey is a one off for Rd 1 against the storm next year. A bit of a members gimmick to get some more funds into the club, and not a bad idea at that. How do we know that this jersey (which I DONT LIKE for more than one game) will be used continuously? It doesnt say that anywhere.

To answer my own question, it appears that the above jersey is the home strip for 2010. Gag me with a spoon.

Apparently the away strip is very similar to the home, only variation being that it has white panels under the arms instead of black.

I dont buy this crap about moving forward with the jersey. Youve got 11 away games in the year to screw around with the jersey. Have eleven variations on that. The sharks wear the blue hoops. Thats it, thats the end of it, and anything is a disgrace.

A telling sign, the Cov isn't wearing the new jersey on the brochure they sent out, he's wearing black cronulla training t-shirt because Cov is the king of cool.

What would be a good idea for guerseys would be like the high school kids get done, so I could get a sharks guersey with my name on it, nothing stopping me doing it I know, just couldnt be bothered, but if the club did it I would certainly part with some cash

On the jersey....I don't hate it....but I far from love it.

On membership, I was an interstate member last year which gave me 2 tickets to the Raiders match (as I live in Canberra), or could've been used for Gold Coast, Brisbane, NQ or Melbourne (and probably Warriors can't remember). According to the 2010 members brochure, the options are Melbourne (rd24) or Brisbane (rd6), that's it....what the??? And it's only 1 ticket, not 2, at the same price  ...but...wait....we get an exclusive interstate membership t-shirt...

Why has it changed??? I would imagine this may well stop many Canberrans and NQ'ers becoming members. We don't have an away game against the Tits who could probably go to the Brisbane game easily enough. But never the less it's fooking crazy

The other option for me, country membership, gives you 1 ticket (2 last year) to any match at Toyota.

Last year it worked beautifully as my fellow Canberran Vin Fizz and I bought one type of membership each and split the tickets. Ie. I shouted him to the Canberra game and he shouted me to a Sharks home game.

I'll write to the club and see what they have to say...

OK, I can get over losing the extra ticket, inflation, money's tight, compensated by a few other things, like the t-shirt, but...

Why only the 2 games??

Yeah that is a good point mate, as someone in Townsville i find it odd that we dont have a decent interstate ticket option this year.
