Serious question - why does it bother you so much that Dragons fans who supported the St George club before the merger wish to claim this as premiership #16?

They supported a club they grew up with - they had little or NO control over it merging and it still retained most of the same identity with which it always competed.

Their memories of previous glories - should they be old enough to remember - aren't simply erased because the club elected to merge.

It really looks desperate the lengths some of you are going to in order to try and discredit and devalue the premiership they're celebrating.

To me in response it looks like many of them are just saying #16 to get under your skin and get you in even more of a lather - in many ways you're playing straight into their hands.

But each to their own, eh? ;-)
