Grub? Yes.
Wanker? Yes.
Munster? Yes.
Cat? No.

You don't have to like him, but he's got some balls on him for a smaller player.

Agreed God King, these Tiger fans are just up Farahs a$$, they are blinded, if Ennis was on your side you would love everything he brings to the team

Ennis is one of those players who you hate if he's not on your team. If he's on your side you would like him.

Would not swap him for Farah in a million years though. Ennis would not suit our attacking style and he is a poor defender.

Ennis is a club whore. Already been at 4 clubs so i doubt he will stay at the dogs. Then all the dogs supporters will hate him again..

I think we're about to see a contract extension be signed for him, so I doubt it.

He's a grub.

I hated him when he was playing for us (Broncos) and my opinion of him hasn't changed.

He's a great footballer, but a grub !!

I'd rather have Ennis than Farah in my team on ay day...Farah goes MIA too much.

Such f**king bullsh*t. Farah is our organiser, our dummy half and best player bar Benji, he never goes missing in action. He makes 35+ tackles a game, he sparks our attack, he's the captain. Ennis goes MIA more than anything, Ennis did nothing until the 36th minute where the ball fell straight into his hands, and then in the end of the match when we were shot and not trying, he scored and set up a try. Heck, I wouldn't say Ennis goes MIA because he rarely is in the A at all. He's a solid club level hooker, but that's it.

^^ And also touted as the next captain.

As a dogs supporter - I personally think Farah IS the smarter player. I found that last year some of the forwards in Origin just werent on the same wave length as him. When he wanted to chance an arm, he was all by his lonesome. Didnt get much support from his halves.

Thats where Ennis did OK in origin III. He had a GOOD game - not a great game.

Farah IS the better hooker - but like Byrd said - he has to be in your team to appreciate what he brings to the team.

Case in point - Trial game this year V Dragons. Ennis makes a try saving tackle with another on the right side of the field, right near the corner post. Next play Dragons send it 3 wide - ends in the hands of Beau Scott (playing out at center) on the OTHER side of the field - and whos there to make the tackle? Ennis. He ran 40 odd meters to make that cover tackle. In a friggen trial nonetheless.

Its small things like this that make us love his style of play. Not matter how much of a grub (admittedly) he can be.

I loved when Ennis played for Brisbane. Great player and I was truly sad to see him go. I don't care if he's a grub or whatever, he will do whatever it takes to win and its good to have some villains in the game.

Ennis does this kind of thing every single game. It gets under most fans skin but to be honest I think most opposition players find his behaviour to be a bit of joke (on him) and just ignore it. Seems like a decent bloke off the field but becomes a 5 (or is it 3) year old once he runs onto the pitch, don't know how his teammates put up with it to be honest, maybe they think it's a bit of a joke too. Ennis presents a poor image for the NRL, most fans can't stand his childish antics and the fans are the ones who count. In that light alone, Ennis is exactly the kind of player NSW DON'T want. But he also gives away too many penalties, too unpredictable in his behaviour, goes into his shell (like a 5 year old) when losing or when the going gets tough. But NSW will pick him and a few of the other regular dropkicks and they lose yet another series.

I'm a dragons fan and I'm actually embarrased we let Ennis wear the famous red V, fortunately he was injured most of the time and didn't get to wear it too often. He didn't seem to fit in with dragons or broncos culture, seems right at home at the bulldogs though. ;-) Probably should never have left Newcastle.

Having said all that, if someone does't rip his head off this year, I will.

i remember 2 years ago the roosters getting belted from pillar to post for only scoring off kicks, mainly from dogs fans.

scoring off kicks is pot luck most of the time and is also a sign of a poor attacking team.

So you would have been upset if Marshall scored from that kick on the 1st tackle off the scrum move? Would that have suggested the Tigers had no attacking options in the first half other than a kick?

Seriously, I dont think there has ever been a bigger cat in the game than Ennis. Running up from behind a player to elbow him in the back of the head is a low merkin act, even if it was Fitzy. If you get the NSW 9 it will be the first time in my life I have not cheered on NSW. I have never wished injury on a player but if anyone deserves to do a knee or a shoulder or get genital warts it is you.

Having a little cry are we? Tigers failed on friday night and it seems that you sir are sucking on sour grapes :)

Sour grapes much? I know you're reacting to arguments but to argue Ennis does nothing is f**king stupid and a poor attempt at one-upmanship.

Grow up.

I think the players should just ignore this menace. As much as I hate him, he is starting to become a joy to watch. I watch to see which players actually react to him.
I noticed Tuqiri laugh it off, Ayshford reacted to a push or grab and Fifita copped a earful but didnt even bother.

His antics are becoming laughable and it adds to the viewing imo.
