Okay - that's probably good - means he has 2 weeks to recover, but gives him a confidence boost, as he was 'good enough to be selected'.

It would be good if Fifita and Graham could also come up with 'hamstring soreness' and 'a niggling shoulder complaint' (respectively) and have the weekend off, as well?

Nope I would rather Fifita play - he needs to find form.

I agree, he should play this game. Hopefully it sinks in that he is playing shite and that he needs to get back to basics. Like playing the ball correctly and not carrying on like someone stole his lollies everytime he gets tackled.

The above on Fi Fi.

Run straight and hard son and don't try to fight everyone.

At the moment he would dead set try to palm off a gap in the defensive line.

The try he scored off the bomb shows why he should be in the centres.

he is not an evasive player - he is a bullocking player.

Any team who wants to threaten in this comp needs an evasive fullback.

Fullback play today is all about support and finding space.

Gordon does neither.

Playing him centre and getting him one on one in their quarter would huge for us.

I agree that it is a risk to play him at centre given his lack of experience there. I do think however, that he would be outstanding in attack from centre... currently he is just goodish. I'm torn.

Not long ago we all thought he was the best thing since sliced bread at fullback, he might regain some of that form.

He was at the Panthers

He was a solid fullback, but not outstanding, doesn't have a passing game like the modern fullbacks, you won't see him sweeping left or right to link up the outside backs, that's why Coote always got the start over him.

Gordon would be killing it, if the rest of the team was pulling their weight.
Without Gal etc. for most of the season so far, Fifita and TC playing like busteds. It's no wonder Flash hasnt looked the same player he did last year. He busts his ass every week but its hard to shine from the back when those at the front are going backwards and giving up.

Ok.

I thought he played mostly fullback at Penrith ?

No - wing - that was APPARENTLY one of the reasons why he was keen to find another club.

It seemed that every time he played fullback he absolutely carved them up.

Having said that, yes, Sheensy shocked everybody by playing Hayne at centre, and he did extremely well...

Good point Blue. I was initially against Flash going to centre but happy if he could replicate Hayne's change.

It won't work guys, the Panthers tried it, he is a much different player to Hayne. Weather you like Hayne or not, the guy is a footballing freak.

Flash is an Outstanding Winger and a Solid fullback, he just doesn't have the skills to be a centre or a ball playing fullback.

Stick him on the wing outside a good centre and fullback. Then you will see the best out of him.

See, I don't get that bit Obi Wan. Why did he leave the Panfers who wanted him to play wing instead of fullback? Does he see himself as an FB? Have I fugged that up? Glad he is in the BWB by the way.

That's what I thought Mad and is what I don't get. It appears everyone thinks he is a redhot winger except him! So much so he left a club who was playing him in a position that he's supposed to be outstanding at.

The reason he left the panthers was because wanted to play fullback.
He openly said that.
They didnt see him as one.

And he didnt carve it up last year as suggested.

FFS get the facts right. He left pennies because they paid $600k to Coote to play fullback. Gordo was wing & 2nd string fullback.

Shit, he might leave us for the same reason then Since.

You would need a replacement first.

Nothing wrong with keeping him a FB. He just isn't a ball player. He is always sniffing around the ruck looking for work and will give 110% every game.
