At the very least Clarke needs to move to no.4

In terms of a replacement there isnt an obvious choice really , I dont want watson anywhere near the team on this tour.

Next summer the options could include ,

Callum Ferguson
Phil Jaques - If he shows some form , katich to no.4?
Michael Klinger

If there was a clear choice Hussey would be under much more pressure.
I've always believed Clarke should bat at no.4. He is a natural strokemaker which is what the no.4 batsmen should be. Hussey is more of a no.5 or 6.

Interesting to hear the Huss give his excuse when asked about his poor form

Seemed to waffle on a bit about trying too hard, and now says he knows that he has to revert back to what made him successfull ie. to chill out and relax more

Find it quite odd you change something that is working wonders for you, oh well lets see how he goes from now on, hopefully a nice juicy 200 in the 3rd test

Hughes is under pressue to retain his place but a 34 yr old who has been out of form for the the best part of 12 months is under no pressure at all :?

I reckon Huss had an amazing start to his career mainly because we played a very ordinary giraffe eaters team and an even more ordinary Windies team on roads.

Whats his average dropped to now over the past 2 tests Parraboy? Must be less than 20 now.

averaging 23.70 over the last 18 test innings now (since the start of our summer in November 08)

Has gone up slightly due to a whopping 27 average from 2 tests vs the poms

I think its time to put Huss out to pasture.

Time to start picking our strongest team instead of just picking and hoping.

2nd innings of the 3rd test should be his final chance, hopefully for his and australias sake (and the mighty fine legs where he is captain) he gets a big score

otherwise drop sunshine to 5 or 6, bring back hughes

Hussey's last 25 test innings-

0, 27, 51, 3, 39, 20, 19, 50, 0, 4, 45*, 30, 2, 0, 8, 0, 70, 0, 35, 19, 90, 53, 1, 54, 31.

Simply not good enough. How long before enough is enough. I suppose the Australian selectors do show faith though......
