And we also better not say anything about our fearless leader. who continues to lead from the front :crazy:thats right
wheres skeepe?
How dare we talk down a marquee champion batsman, who is obviously a lot more to a team than making runs
Hughes to open, and Watson to 4 i suppose. Not much else coming through atm.Question is who is there to replace Hussey. I'm not too confident of putting Watson at 4. I don't follow much state cricket, are there any stand-out candidates?
Hodge, White, Dussey, could even push Clarke, North and Haddin up 1 spot and bring in McDonaldQuestion is who is there to replace Hussey. I'm not too confident of putting Watson at 4. I don't follow much state cricket, are there any stand-out candidates?

Hughes has to be given a better run in test matches
Watson at 6, North at 5
Husseys last test innings tonight.
Who else is there to put in? Noone has a legitimate great record in state cricket. Im not really sold on any of them. Maybe Jaques as a number 4, who knows.
In any event, whoever is in the team after this test, whether it be M.Hussey, D.Hussey, Fergo, Voges, Jaques, Watson - whoever, they will be in the team for a while as whoever it is comes up against attacks like Pakistan and West Indies.
If M.Hussey is shown further faith he will bounce back and pile on hundred after hundred in Australia this summer and stay in the team for years until we come up agsinst some real qorld class opposition again.

Hussey saves his international career with a century
Turning point was definately the Ponting run-out.
