Its not at my feet that you are unable to understand that winning without honour is meaningless.

Ivan has no moral compass at all.

Any premiership under him would be soulless, barren and forever tainted as it will be devoid of the underlying ethics and character.

He cheated the west tigers and karma will find a way.

If there’s no underlying morality to the Panthers, no player is going make sacrifices and people will be looking to exploit you.

Smug under Ivan is an illness, it’s a disease of heart, there’s nothing noble or good about it.

So long as you provide comfort and respite to this soul-sucker, you will be seen as desperate and mercenary.

That is why the rest of the game is not with you where it would be if you had an honourable person as coach like Hoss etc.
In that case then, you will acknowledge that your team defeated a depleted side. Only one player, played more than 100 first grade games.

Yeah. Dealt with it by telling the media first, before telling the bloke face to face.

How brave.
If you had a full understanding of the circumstances and understood our side of the story, we were more than generous and kindly towards him.

At the Saints game for example, Jack Bird and other dragons players were only too happy to shake hands and mingle with us tigers fans and they were very well treated.

Benji would be hard pressed to shake hands with the mascot, let alone concern himself with us fans.

I speak from personal experience, mine and many others.

Let’s not always believe the media whippy.

Dave O’Neil has a major issue I’m afraid.

His understanding of time is way off. This five minutes is a major understatement. These pricks have won their Grand Final and are insufferable under achievers on a two game winning streak stupor that has them believing their top 9 finish is still in reach.
Like most of these enfattened lazy officials, driving around in his Rolls Royce spitting on the poor, he thinks his shiz dont stink.

We have exactly the same problem.

None of these blokes could put on an ugg boot and flannelette shirt to save themselves.

Yet they walk around trying to lord it over us.

The volunteer at the salvos on the High Street has more credibility and honour than these vacuous pricks.

If people are this excited when Panthers lose despite half their side being out. Imagine how excited they will get when our NRL team actually loses rather than our reserve grade one.

It's ridiculous. Literally every team is sitting below us and somehow thinks anything less than a 100% win rate under any circumstances is a failure.

I am glad we lost a match where half our players were missing rather than at full strength. Resets the streak and helps reignite the fire.

Happy to get a couple losses out the way now and to refocus on winning everything after the Origin series is done

Today's Footy Show had WT coach Maggie on, and he was in awe of our setup and wants to emulate our blueprint of success. They will get there, but patience is a virtue with hard work and perseverance the mainstay of any success.

But if the WT fans keep hanging onto this Cleary bullshit every time they are behind the 8-ball for whatever reason, they will always come off as perennial victims.

Young dinky buddy, there was a lot of smug about before the game and people warranting that b-grade was going to thrash us.

You had a number of internationals, Burto and Dylan. The best prop in the world...

I objectively compared player attributes (purrs) and found we were about a 30 % better side ( and for my contribution I received a large number of ugly comments and hate).

In keeping with my assessment, I thought we would win by about 30 or 40% but instead it was in the vicinity of 400 or 500% or tens times over my expected ratio.

And on that basis, given the extent and completeness of the thrashing, there’s a compelling proposition that we would have soundly beaten your first grade side.

And it seemed to most enlightened observers that Madge knew more about your game plan than your players actually did.

Agree 100% . Yep, Ivan did the wrong thing and fans were right to be pissed off but how many more years are they going to hang onto it? Its done and nothing's going to change that. Tigers have a coach that's has great vision for the club, its an insult to him that the fans continue to bang on about his predecessor. Its about time they backed their coach and as you quite rightly say...stop playing the perennial victims.

Very well said gong. W/T on Friday night would have beaten many of the teams currently in the NRL. The odds having Penrith favourites were just plain silly. Perhaps Melbourne and maybe Souths would have beaten them (sure with reduced squads)

After watching the Melbourne game last night and how Titians basically gave the game to Melbourne. I'm much more comfortable with how Penrith played on Friday night.

Burton will be better for the run in the halves. May overplayed his hand sadly.

Silverdale, you have totally lost the plot. You used to be ‘fun’ to read and reply to. Now you are not even a bad joke. You total obsession with the Cleary’s, and your total lack of acceptance that Penrith is the best team and club in the NRL at the moment is demented. Please take rest from it, and come back like the poster you used to be!

Guilty as charged your honor, although in summing up, I'd rather be throwing my weight behind my side with the support that they needed instead of being cautious in fear of simply not getting the desired result wrong which used to be my mindset.

To me, I'm an all in fan, and I don't hold back my thoughts in how we will perform. If you don't may as well take up flower arranging.

I disagree. Ivan had every intention in honoring his contract. Pasco, and co. had a dummy spit, which in turn, made the situation untenable. Also, I think the West Tigers were hoping that Nathan would sign with them. Players signs contracts in advance, so why can't coaches?

Maybe if Burton played 1/2 with May as stand-off, there might have been better backline movement. Anyway, spilt milk as they say.

So true! But this doesn’t match Silverdale’s agenda.
LU loves Panthers fans as we are a heavy traffic section being that we are the most popular sporting club in the world. So having trolling alt accounts, ensures the viability of this website. 🖕

I haven’t lot the plot, I’m simply offering up a considered view of the current Panther situation.

I have roundly condemned the personal abuse of Ivan face to face and even complimented him several times about some aspects of his footy persona. Like him sneakily laughing at the crowd on Friday. It was a bit of fun.

Thats all part of the cut and thrust of footy.

And If some deranged f**kwit muppet went to hurt him physically I’d stand in their way to protect him and id do the same for any Panther player or official.

I’m a big fan of ivans family.

But that doesn’t mean I think him and the Panthers should be cosy. I bring to light his shortcomings and lying ways to help you. Why else would I waste my time?

I can see it now.....

The year is 2050....

Wests Tigers celebrating their 50th anniversary as a joint-venture club....

They go through the season undefeated....

They go through the finals series undefeated....

They make the Grand Final against the Brisbane Firehawks....

Despite a great game from Benji Marshall Jr Jr, Kerry Hemsley Jr Jr Jr and Eddie Flahey Jr Jr Jr, they go down to the Firehawks 19-18 in Golden Point....

....and they’ll still blame a long-retired 80-year old Ivan Cleary for the failure.

I was first in to protect Nate when he broke the law and I said he should get off completely.

I was one of the few fans to assure you lot that could beat the Storm in the gf. Janet was in hysterics and I calmed her down.

i love all things Kiks and Dylan.

I have sound Panther credentials through and through.

Which is why I feel I have some something to add and a long long way from any hate etc.

I criticise Ivan because I care.

Statements such as “Ivan has no moral compass” will not help your cause.
