McDonald played his best football during his tenure at STGI, maybe he could again. More to this however than being reported, hope he can find his focus again.
Apparently wrote off a hire care left all his belongings inside sounds like he’s off the rails can’t help but think it may not have happened had he been playing football I could be wrong

Amazing what getting dropped can do for a player.

Rava has improved steadily since losing his spot. Seems hungry and focussed. That's all I ask.

I hope he continues to improve and make a spot in the backline his own. Credit where its due.

There are four certain things in life: life, death, taxes and Ravalawa dropping the ball at least once per game.

I really don’t understand the “improvement” observations here. It’s a further acceptance of mediocrity.

Just my observation,

He is far from a polished player, but from what I have seen his kick returns, positional play, and overall involvement make him our best option at the moment.

Granted, not much competition, but he deserves his spot and hope he keeps on learning and developing.
No doubt he has an error in him, as do all of our backs.

He is a f**king centre .. more than that he has the toolkit to be an elite centre

No harm whatsoever testing him out in the centres.
As this year will achieve nothing other than a bottom 4 spot, I would be trying him out as well. Accepting the fact that he will take time and will make errors. Thats fine by me.

He could be a better version of Konrad Hurrell or B J Leilua ?
I think Rava would have a more complete game than Hurrell. I think Hurrell should be playing second row. BJ Leilua on the other hand does have a large attacking arsenal. I think Rava will have a decent passing game for centre. He is also a very strong runner of the ball, which would draw in numerous defenders, which in turn would open up opportunities either side of him.

Maybe Rava could be a Chris Close type of centre? Hard running, with thighs like tree trunks.
