Ah f**k it. Balls deep time.
vote: Drew-sta
In the absence of any night action and amidst varying levels of inactivity, the best course of action is to be suspicious of those whose logic doesn't sit well with you for whatever reason. When someone's logic is wavering they're either being a silly bugger or are telling fibs. WarriorPoet's 'misread role PM' defence is only saved by his role-claim of Drew-sta for me at this point, so I'm left with Drew-sta.
FAQ
Q) Hi Apey, long time listener first time caller, why are you voting for Drew-sta?
A) Hello anonymous fan. This is a good question and I will elaborate right now.
Firstly, this has nothing to do with his
OMGUS vote, I didn't take that seriously at all, nor does it have anything to do with his initial post and vote for 9701. It doesn't really have anything to do with 9701 turning up town either, but rather his reasoning with regards to 9701.
However, he made an odd claim that
9701 never metas BM. This is false, 9701 does this on a regular basis. His warning that he may end up dead due to pretty much a nothing argument seemed like a very premature 'appeal to town'.
Next, Drew is very quick to play the
framed card so early in the game. Setting up a defence before it is required seems strange to me. Interesting that the mafia didn't kill 9701, as that could paint Drew in a bad light. His post right after this didn't really make sense to me, either.
Here, he makes the claim that mafia have a significant advantage whilst pushing 9701. With 5 mafia vs 20 town and 11 actions present in the game, this information being made public before Drew's post, I think this claim is suspiciously false.
This post seemed rather unnecessarily bloodthirsty, even requesting the investigator to change his action and investigate 9701.
I reckon he threw
this post out there as another 'appeal to town', offering to throw himself up as a lynch candidate when he
knew that was highly unlikely to happen, considering night had just finished and it was unknown whether any information had to come to light.
Drew made an odd comment in
this post, right at the bottom. Hoggmaster never voted in the mickyj lynch. He went after him further
here for example even though it was based on incorrect information. Furthermore, the lynch train wasn't orchestrated by Hoggmaster.
As
KTF pointed out, there was a bit of flip-flopping voting going on too
. In my opinion, Drew was playing his "I'm not sure if we should vote for them or not but ultimately votes for them anyway because he knows they're town" card until he got called out on it.
It's hard to distinguish whether Drew is being a silly town bugger or is mafia, but as I said to begin with, in the light of no information, my suspicions are those with faulty or flawed logic
, so I'm sticking with my vote.
Q) But Apey, what if you're wrong?
Well, I'm not expecting or suggesting a lynchtrain should start from this. This is admittedly just suspicions and nothing more. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but I'm sticking with my vote unless something else more concrete comes up.
I am in favour of putting suspicions out there to get the ball rolling and generate discussion.
