What does that prove? ... that his arms are too short? .... short armed f**kin merkin

That the f**king merkin inside him wasn't doing his f**king job, that's what!

Or that Tigers fans are bitterer than....I dunno, Angostura or something.

Maybe even both

With Fitler rumored to be announced as NSW coach tomorrow, would that mean Moses has a crack at being NSW 7?

I'd say he's as much chance as anyone else who qualifies to play in the halves for NSW.... It's not as if the incumbent has been a rip roaring success there despite his numerous chances....

In my opinion, NSW have to go with either Cleary or Moses next year. All the half options they have tried apart from maybe Maloney haven't really stook up to get another chance.

They should probably debut one and bring the other into the camp as a "development" player.

I reckon Moses is ready - was probably going as good this year as any nsw half was playing before they debuted over the last 5-10 years.

He's not up to Origin defensively. Maloney makes up for it by being a tough little grub. Moses doesn't.

Maybe in his tiger days he wasnt up to it, but towards the end of 2017 with the eels and during the World Cup, I reckon he showed enough to be up to it defensively. He will also improve with another offseaon.

Also haven't seen anything to suggest Moses isn't as tough as Maloney, additionally Maloney has to be a grub to make up for his lack of talent - Moses has a lot more tricks to his game then Maloney could ever hope for !!

NEW NSW coach Brad Fittler has already dropped a shock Blues bolter for the 2018 Origin series, while outlining his ruthless selection policy.

Fittler had only been coach of the Blues for about 10 minutes when he dropped Mitchell Moses in as a possible debutant for next year’s series.

Moses played under Fittler for Lebanon at the World Cup, and led the Cedars to a quarter final before being bundled out.

His form for Parramatta last season was solid, and he’s long been touted as a future State of Origin playmaker.

Fittler did not hesitate in naming the 23-year-old as an option in the halves for NSW.

“He was awesome ... a big part of what Lebanon did during the World Cup came down to him,” Fittler said of Moses.

“He came up with some really big moments so he was outstanding, and what it does is it puts pressure on the current halves and the halves that are in contention.

“If he can have that sort of attitude under that pressure, and the fact is he was playing in a team that was going backwards most of the time and were sort of just hanging on, and he came up with big moments.

“He showed so much more than I thought he had, and off the field as well.”
