Maybe in his tiger days he wasnt up to it, but towards the end of 2017 with the eels and during the World Cup, I reckon he showed enough to be up to it defensively. He will also improve with another offseaon.

Also haven't seen anything to suggest Moses isn't as tough as Maloney, additionally Maloney has to be a grub to make up for his lack of talent - Moses has a lot more tricks to his game then Maloney could ever hope for !!

Pearce cops all the blame, but Maloney was f**ken invisible in games 2 and 3 this year. He was great in game 1 but didn't step up at all for the next two when he was desperately needed.

At least Pearce looked like he was trying. Maloney was just being a lazy merkin (like Fifita).

Not surprised Fittler has come out in favour of Moses... i heard a few weeks ago that he reckons Mitch is one of the best young halves in the comp.

and he makes the DTs team of the tournament

Stand-off: Mitchel Moses (Lebanon)

The Parramatta halfback went into the World Cup on the back of an outstanding season in the NRL and continued that form with Lebanon. He scored the all-important try in the Cedars’ crucial opening win over France and also caught the eye playing against Australia and England before leading their brave quarter-final effort against Tonga. At 23, he will be a key man for Lebanon in the 2021 World Cup in England.
