More bad teams in 06?

If you compare the teams for 06..Knights would look stronger.

We have to agree to disagree on this one...

We may have lost experienced campaigners in Peachey and Stevens... as well as Sullivan (who after last year, fell away big time), Galloway (no biggie!), and possibly Dykes... but we have recruited fairly well, and the youngsters coming through have enjoyed lower-grade success for some time now...

As for the knights?...

I like how u have the ability of looking into the future, where apparently Joey is going to get injured again

This sort of reminds me of last year when predicting the 2005 season. Arrogant Knights fans... oh I love it. Last year you were all predicting the minor premiership for your team. Tell me, how's that wooden spoon fitting into that trophy case?

No it's ok you can keep it, I know how much it means to you. I would have thought you would have been cheering about winning the spoon R&BK. It means the man you're so in love with can add another award to his impressive list of achievements. And you know what? Couldn't have happened to a bigger wanker. Congratulations.

You seem to think your spite and bitterness sting or are taken on board, guess what f**ktard...it doesn't?

Couldn't give a rats ass what you think.

Apparently you do, because it has inspired you to post the witty retort above. My original post is still valid. You were arrogant last year, arrogant this year and remain arrogant. The wooden spoon should serve as a reminder of what arrogance will eventually bring.

IMO unbiased

Sharks have lost yet another true club due to our lovely CEO and Coaching so called future plans. Sometimes i ask myself do these future plans involve a trophy of anysort (besides the wooden type) I see our first grade side possibly being

1:Mitch Brown / David Simmons
2:Darren Albert
3:Beau Scott
4:Ben Pommery / Vince Mellars
5:Luke Covell
6:Nigel Vagana
7:Brett Kimmorley
8:Ben Ross
9:Hilder / Latu
10: Nutley
11: Bailey
12: Gallen
13: Kingston

14:Manua
15:Williams
16:Hilder / Latu
17:Bird

Some very good talent there but at the same time alot of young raw talent that needs leadership and guidance to fully utilise it.

This is where Kimmorley comes in i see some shark fans saying we are not a 1 man team well in some ways i disagree. No Dykes No Peach No Stevens, If Brett isnt there or he doesnt fuggin fire up this season those boys dont have much guidance in the team they need him to create the plays and put talent into holes give them assists create magic with them. This is what Johns does when in the newcastle side this is why there side fired at the end of this season he brang there true talent out.

The last season Kimmorley played really good all season was 2002 and look how good that year was we did loose 8 on the trot then came back and won 11 in a row finishing 4th and just missing out in the prelims.

Prediction: Sharks 6th

Haha.

Raiders fans were just as arrogant. Going on about how they have a great team with who they've recruited, how they'll go well this season - and then winding up second last.

Hypocrit. Seems you have a short memory.

That is ONE player, in ONE position, that on his day, is only slightly better...

Otherwise we have them comprehensively covered...

ROTFL, Johns only slightly better? What the hell are you smoking? And what's with that homo emoticon at the end of all your posts? Can you like, stop doing it? It's annoying.

As for comprehensively covered. We bought Carney - when on song, is the best winger in the world - you bought Albert, just another example of our rejects being your prize signings... He'll turn out exactly the same as bird and Franze did.

Compare this to

1) Thaiday/Seage
2) Cooper
3) Tighe
4) Kidley/Midley
5) Carney
6) Mullen/Kidley
7) Johns
8) Davico
9) Buderus
10) Perry
11) Simpson
12) Newton
13) Abraham

14) Reynoldson
15) Woolnough
16) Smith
17) Brown/Snowden/Thaiday/Seage

The most important thing about our lineup is that we have competition for every position except Halfback and Hooker... Even then, we have handy replacements for both in Campbell/Walsh and Quigley/Berry. If you think the Sharks lineup is better than that, you're dreaming.

Maybe it's my arrogant Novocastrian nature, but if injuries are kind, Newcastle for top 4.

Too true, I remember Raiduh spruking about how good they were... Injuries f**ked our season before it even kicked off, what was the Raiders excuse?

I had my doubts about our recuritments at the start of the year. But they weren't the problem for our side this year.

ummm...did you not see all the Raiders injuries this season....pretty sure they had just about the same amount as you, and before they started happening...they were well inside the top 8.

First grade players used by the Knights: 35
First grade players used by the Raiders: 30

I do understand why you'd have come to that conclusion though...

At one point we had 17 players out at once, don't tell me the Raiders had it as bad as us. We had it for the whole season as well, they didn't.

And also, unlike the Raiders fans, we don't factor in 'injuries' to include suspensions because our players are stupid as sh*t (Like Fat Perry, for instance :p)

I never said they had it "as bad"..I said they had their fair share of injuries as well...which caused their slide down the ladder, which is true.
