Because those in the know were selling it as a package.

Dominos etc.

If we don’t get the whole package it’s a very different proposition. A way worse proposition if CF isn’t the next super coach.

we got the garlic bread but no pizza and drink. Garlic bread is ok but I’m pretty hungry
You’d have starved under bomber then.

Look Dino - if it aint broke dont fix it.
But we were broke.
Since the GF win one would hope a dynasty would begin.
An era where we threatened to add another every season, however we lost the mojo we had created.
The aura where we the team nobody wanted to play in the big ones.
We became the side who couldnt even compete with the top half of the competition.

So yep - we needed fixing.
Do you start with the coach?..thats the point obviously - and yep Im saying l agree with Morris going.

He needs more experience.

So the answer to having an inexperienced coach is a rookie coach.

It’s not rich at all if you think about what you actually suggested. Who takes that job when the KPI is to win the comp. KPIs are smaller parts that form the whole picture. So a top 4 finish while maintaining cap compliance and junior development might form the complete set. Not to win the comp. If you aren’t going to discuss it properly then just jump back on Twitter and tell everyone the board should be sacked.

I’m not on Twitter. I’m sorry I don’t agree with you but that’s life. Sometimes you get resistance to your ideas. You better get used to it.

If you want an echo chamber yell into a cave.

Yaaawn.
Rookie?
Read up about fitz's role and input into the elite football operation that is the roosters....and his role with the blues SOO program.

The fact you even compare bomber and fitz..
The fact you think its apple for apples..

Oh you know the rest

I’m sure he’s very good at what he does. But he’s unproven as a head coach.

I wish him the best, but it’s new for him.

You don’t have to be head coach to have coaching experience. Fitz has been in Robinson’s top pocket for years. Fitz is more qualified to be HC than John Morris Is.

I think it's no secret Bomber was probably given the job a bit early, but he was in our system, was cheap and better option than Dymock.

No doubt this experience has been good for him, he'll go back to being an AC, hopefully where he can learn more and have another crack at a HC role sometime in the future.

Yep...unproven. True.
But his role and responsibilities at the roosters are way beyond a normal assistant.
In fact he probably has better grounding than available guys who are ex head coaches.
End of the day the board werent happy with results.
And rather than blame morris they just decided they wouldnt renew his contract and would give fitz a crack.

The fact bomber got sacked early is due to how badly he and orr played his non- renewal

Well ciraldo has said no

If we don't get AR and SJ moves on then that is a real worrying sign

All likely as well

We had one when I said top 4 but you wanted it to be win the GF, a childish suggestion.

Ok so we can hold outlandish expectations for Morris, but when it comes to the new guy we need to act sensible.

ok fair enough. Makes sense.

Agree totally. Again he wasn’t extended past his current contract ad there was a better option.
