We have a five-eighth who runs the ball less than our halfback.

That shit needs to change real f**king fast.

Brooks is hampered by Moses' disinterest in body contact.

Its no wonder the backs on Moses' side are struggling, Moses is not taking the line on and creating any sort of opportunity for his outside men.

Moses was reluctant to run the ball last season in the lower grades,promoting him to FG was never going to solve that issue,unless he is there for his defence.

Both of our halves need to do more, but I'd have Moses ahead of Brooks based on this season. Brooks hasn't improved at all IMO. That's a big worry.

Agreed but it was DCE and Foran. I think they are the best halves in the game.

Being wet and slippery the conditions were ideal for the small men to take advantage of,Manly's halves never let up searching for lazy defenders to isolate which is what our halves need to learn to do.Brooks last night was MIA for large parts of the game which isn't could enough imo.

No excuses for Brooks to be MIA.He has plenty of company in the under-performing department with this lifeless team.They can't get up & make an effort after a rare comprehensive win last week.

I suppose they've reached the annual kpi's set by Taylor in last weeks victory.

Another loss @ leichhardt next wk is inevitable.

I agree 05, when he runs he does look good...I just wish he'd run more and ask more questions of the opposition. He seems too quiet for my liking and while he shows a level of talent he just doesn't do it enough.

I know there is the old argument of the forwards going forward and so on but Brooks just isn't probing enough, he seems too quick to pass the ball.

There's no doubt Moses has much ability & hopefully we will see over the next few yrs why so much faith has been placed in him.It's just that the powers that be @ this stupid club should've retained Austin for this yr & promoted Moses to 1sts in '16.

Looks good when he runs it and he's got some nice trick shots with Teddy. Have to agree he's just not doing enough though. Not probing enough sums it up perfectly.

As for Moses, his best game by a mile. It's all well and good to give it to him for his average games, but credit where credits due. He had a great game and hopefully he's starting to find his feet.

I rate Moses. I just think he looks like a quality footballer and if he puts on some size and works on his game he could be a really good player.

I'm not really sold on Brooks at this point but I like the guy. He seems to have a go. There was a game when he got smashed and then he tried to put a hit on. That sort of character might push him to a higher level.

Not could, should, might, but got talent, needs time, patience, more size.....

Anyone who thinks his game is anywhere near first grade standard and has earned the right to play first grade every week?


Nowhere near NSW Cup standard for mine.
