I just looked it up....Purtell played a little over 100 nrl games (I thought 200 was way too many).
My favourite Adrian Purtell moment was when Matt Elliott decided to put him in the backrow for a finals match even though he couldn't tackle.

I hope he is in good health after his heart issues.

Somehow that coach managed to finish second.

Andrew Ettinghausen is the obvious one.

Edit: just took a look at every member. The players to have played 300 but never won a premiership are; Ettinghausen, Morris, Gerard, Hindmarsh, Blair, Mannering and Tolman.
Cheers. Tolman and Blair, I didn't figure in that their premierships were wiped out. Sucked in.

Despite the lack of silverware I think Luke Burt has enough individual point scoring achievements to be excluded from this thread.
Very unusual player, very reliable. Someone of his size wouldn't survive in today's game.

I've been thinking about him due to this wet weather lately. Some how always found the line.

Premiership notwithstanding, honorable mention to Paul Gallen, for being the losingest loser that ever did lose in SOO.

Tolman won the 2009 premiership that was subsequently struck off. Doubt he GAF.

ET, Hindmarsh, Mannering and now Croker deserve acknowledgement for staying loyal to their clubs when they could’ve gone premiership hunting though.

You think the 3rd-highest point scorer of all time hasn’t achieved anything? Go take a long walk off a short plank.
Achievements = rep selections/dally m/premierships. He doesn't have any.

He'll always have a place in ricky's heart though <3

Mate none of these are counted in the context of this thread.

Country origin doesn't even exist anymore. Toyota cup? 18th man? jesus wept.

Yeah but tbh it seems like the thread has become pretty much an achievement is whatever a poster arbitrarily wants it to be?

Croker is the third highest point scorer in RL history, that's a fair old achievement. He's a chance to finish second too, although maybe slim

Dallas "Captain Alraldite" Johnson.

His greatest achievement is holding the record of throwing the least number of passes in NRL history.

His tally of passes thrown can be counted on the hands of a double amputee.
