Most Over-rated Jersey Flegg Player

Messages

I think the most over-rated Jersey Flegg player is Scott Dureau. He rides on the coat tails of other players. He is really bad a defense and when he makes a tackle (after someone has already made a dominate tackle) he touches the player so that it counts towards his tackle tally.

He never sets any tries up himself, he always waits for another player to set him up. This is really frustrating to watch. But because he is a local boy everyone thinks he is fantastic. Rip Tayler needs to wake up and smell the roses. When Scott goes up to Premier League (the team looses) when he is in Flegg (they loose) I must be the only one who can see this.

Sorry If I have offended anyone with writing this. But I feel that a lot of the other boys in the side are getting a fair go because he is not the only player who is doing this to the team.

What does anyone else think??

Then you've gotta be Scott Briggs!

How big are you? Are we talking 500+ lbs, have to take the side wall off and hire a crane to go outside type big? Is this the reason you're a single Newy chick?

have been since i was little

So you were once really little, but now you're really big?

Seriously though, you claim to be a very big league fan, yet you don't know who Steve Witt is?

Personal attacks? Um - yeah, ok.

You're welcome to post here. Noone's attacking you. It's just a funny first post.

Why are you make personal attacks against me. I am expressing my opinion you don't even know me.

Yes we do. You're a rather large, single chick from the Newcastle region. You're name is Samantha and you don't care too much for Scott Dureau. Would I be right in assuming you are his ex-girlfriend and this is a way at getting back at him? If not, then would it be a fact that you don't actually know him personally yet you are making personal attacks against him?

im sorry if I have offended some people in saying this. All im saying is he is over-rated with his performance as a football player. Im not making personal comments about him in regards to his looks or personality.

The most under rated in Joel Barton.
He hardly gets a run, but no one gives more than him on the field. He tries his guts out and revs up everyone else as well.
Scotty Perrin is another who is seriously under rated.

I find it hard to say a bad word about the Flegg kids. Most of them will never make firstgrade - but they are all giving it their best shot.

That is a good point. There alot of great guys in the Flegg Team. They all try the best they can to get to the top level, but it is a sad reality that a lot of them won’t make it past the flegg grade. I heard Joel is no longer playing football.

It’s a sad reality, a lot of the guys have had enough of the politics and would rather have a 9-5 job instead.

Or a 9-3 school day as the case may be...

I hope Barton reconsiders and has a run next year.
It would be a shame if a guy who played for NSW u17s gives it away before he turns 20.

BTW - I'm a huge fan of Dureau. He hides in defence because he has a bad shoulder (hopefully he will get that fixed) - but he is one of our best in attack. Walsh is better than him, but Walsh is very, very good.

 God bless you and your ability to turn a dumb thread into serious discussion about our juniors, Roopy. I love it, haha.

Yes I agree that Walsh is a very good player, but if Dureau is injured, i would rather have a player who can play 100% than someone who can't. THere are plenty of other young guys in the squad who would be able to take over from him till he gets his shoulder fixed.
