Whats your BMI if I might ask, also is the doctor telling you that because of other issues, Sleep Apnoea, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes?

Well what I had done, still requires those two as well.

I can tell you that Pre-Op I went on the Opti-fast diet by Nestle, I had a Shake for Breakfast, Bar for Lunch and I had the Desserts for Dinner (You still feel naughty having a Chocolate Pudding for Dinner for two weeks, After the First 3 days of cravings it went quite well and I lost 12 KGs on it.

Isowhey is the go, i liked it so much that we now sell it in the shop, one customer has lost 25kgs in 3 months and has gone from 2 insulin shots a day down to 1.
www.isowhey.com.au
also have a look at them on TVSN if you have paytv.
I have/had high blood pressure but it seems it's stress related as the weight loss didn't work and had to go on medication which is working.
My weight isn't too bad really it was 101kg and now is 92kgs. but i carry it in the middle.

I have isowhey too! ... its good ... and sh*t yeah, the finger nails grow like crazy! - and I think my hair stopped falling out (a bit) .... I don't do it properly - just breakfast a few days a week and tried to eat a bit less for lunch but I still eat heaps of crap - but it helped me initially drop about 12kgs (from about 119kg at one point) and I am pretty even now despite eating too much rubbish - I don't do hardly any real exercise cos my knee is a bit dodgy - so it helps
