so you only drink the protein shakes for a set period of time? Isn't it just like Optifast etc then?

well really it depends on you, if you get to your goal weight you can stop but may put some back on, so the best way is when you get to your goal weight is to use it less as a maintance thing, maybe 3 times a week.

yeah - i think the theory is you can replace 2 meals a day with them (eg breaky and dinner) and that'll help you drop weight fast ... then maybe go down to replacing 1 meal a day ... then maybe a few times a week to help stay down

I never went more than 1 meal a day (breakfast) - mainly cos its easier to make a shake for breaky than anything else  - and the chocolate one is yummy

they say it suppresses cravings for food later in the day and i reckon its right - I never feel hungry until lunch and i eat smaller lunches .... it has a list of vitamins, minerals and stuff in it as long and your arm - and as matters said, it has an effect on general body health cos my finger nails and hair growth changed - my nails grow like buggery ... shame it never stopped greyness

btw - i'll post a day 1 photo at some stage ... tbh day 3 wouldn't look much different - so i won't bother

I will post a photo next Sunday, as I don't think much will change this week (eep).

But an update of another kind,

I have now dropped 33.4 Kg in 6 months, 5 days.

As Sitting Bull once said ....."How".

Well done Mark, Bet you are felling better for it. Keep it up mate, you won't know yourself when you achieve your goals..

No need to be sorry matters. i know how pathetic it looks. thought i would give people a laugh and maybe make the others not so ashamed to put theirs up
