I don't understand why in this day and age, with the sports competitive world we live in, any administration would choose to turn away 30 000 fans to ANY game.
This potentially, being the season opener, could easily draw 50 000 people, particularly how both teams finished last season.
It's just pure madness imo.

you start moving games around and run the possibility of upsetting your loyal regular ticket holders. They need to consider more than the one game.

What would moving this game do to the leagues clubs bottom line?

I know that the newer directors cringe at the thought of being locked into a 5 year deal with ANZ stadium, they would definitely prefer to play at home, but as suity said, the financial rewards are enormous and I'm sure they'll experiance that first hand this year when they see it for themselves.

tbh i think we should be taking 4 blockbusters there a season...but that aint gonna happen.

There'll always be some pain for gain.
Open the game up to a heap of new supporters, and you may well increase your number of season ticket holders.

It could easily draw that many people but then given the way the Dragons finished the season will there be enough of the bandwagon left?
