Yeah agree with that. He's generally very good but he did have an absolute shocker against Penrith last year. He should gain more consistency if he's doing it fulltime.
And if Val is back on the wing (or not), he’ll earn more of his salary as a decent goal kicker.

Maloney with something to prove will do well at the panthers. The only downside is his age.

Why does he have something to prove? won two comps, regular in rep teams.

He's going for the pay day.

I think he'll do well there but feel he's on the decline and teams will really start targeting him in defence even more.

Because he was absolute shit this year and unwanted by his club, basically booted out the door. Not good for the old ego.

Congrats guys you definitely got the better deal here, especially giving Maloney 3 years. Gus is a arrogant f**kwit

I wouldn't be feeling so depressed.

Maloney wins Premierships.

Apart from the Warriors he gets it done.

Might be the type of player who drives you guys to a GF.

We will get Pearce as well.

The rebuild has begun.

Two state players who are unburdened from previous clubs and a point to prove.

Moylan will carve it next year

Maybe....just maybe segyaro might revisit 2015

Meh...might be the few beers I had a lunch but yawn. Even Stevens really.
Happy for Maloney and out of both clubs I think we came out in front, just.
Take away Maloney’s penalties and errors we would have possibly finished 2017 better, but then again he could slot a field goal to scrap us through. Even Stevens.
For those doom sayers, think back to the massive signing of Tim Smith.....
Not all bad then

Still not sure we have done the right thing.

Moylan is a talent but very inconsistent.

That should improve with age although he’s not actually as young as he looks.

Well better change my avatar.

IMO it is what we gain in a passing game that will be a benefit to the team ad a running game lost.

The BBQ's was way off last year and we missed Barbas ability to find a man with the ball through the hands.
Moylan can do this.
It is BBQ'S running game that we will miss. Chad has a decent one but fugg it is inconsistent.
Really, if nothing changes, nothing changes and all us bitches would be moaning either way.
So bring on the golden child and lets play some attacking footy, the game is changing again, from rigid structures of 2016 to the watyMelbourne played with all out attack this year, speed and eyes up.
The team of 2107 would go even further backwards in 2018.
Like Special K said, there is still a bit of cash left in the bank as we were in the game with at least a million, so who is next?

Pearce wont come..unless its Chad to Newie or hooker?

The plane maybe???
