my list

I was just sitting here and for some reason wanted to make a list of our current players in order of who I think is best to less-best (how politically correct am I? ;-)) at this very point in time, just to the sake of it .... so i thought i'd post the list just to start some sh*t fights and make people go all :crazy: ... gotta love making lists hey

1 - hayne
2 - hindy
3 - fui
4 - mateo
5 - reddy
6 - grothe
7 - caylo
8 - burt
9 - KK
10 - mortimer
11 - kingston
12 - joey g
13 - mannah
14 - matt keating
15 - inu
16 - ben smith
17 - brod wright
18 - robson
19 - lowrie


now i'm not saying the guys at the bottom are sh*t, just that I think they are kinda less important at this point in time ... fact is I think the last 4 guys on my list are actually very important role players for us at the moment, not afraid to do the hard work instead of being glory boys

Pretty much agree with 1-5 as is.

6-10... I'd probably have MK, Kingston, Mortimer, Robson, and KK. The instigator type of players without whom nothing else happens.

11-14 would be where Caylo, Burt, Grothe, Joe G sit for mine. Senior players that perform OK.

15-19 for the under performers and rookies imo... Inu, Lowrie, Smith, Mannah, Wright,

I think he goes alright Mickdo. Kingston gets more wraps, but MK has been doing plenty of work round the ruck in the recent games that lays a bit of a platform imo.

However I could equally say 6-9 with the other four, and lump MK in at 10-14 with the four below.

There's a big gap between Striders top 5 and the rest imo.

Matt Keating has thrown way to many stray passes this year. Especially the shorter passes. His long ones seem to hit the player on the chest usually but his short passes arent hitting the chest often as much, he is the player I am second most dissapointed with this year.

as I said, I don't actually think there is no place for the guys I put at the end in the team - I reckon lowrie, robson and smith are a BIG part of our great defense of late and brod has been playing a good role too

the thing I found hardest was putting inu so low - but I could justify putting him higher ... infact tbh maybe he could have gone lower

Not a bad effort. Although I think that that is on their best days this year. Sometimes the higher players are not as good as the lower.

yeah ! i wasnt rating on potential, just wjat they bring to the team in 2009. No doubt Mannah will be the better player of the 2.

Maybe if he got more game time. He plays the least mins of our whole front row rotation. What he does is solid though, bit hard to rate him too high on 25 mins a game.

The top 5 is pretty easy imo, but it gets a bit tougher after that.
