lol, the chaser has a myspace!

actually, i saw their stage show at the riverside theatre, chas had various RSVP profiles, and used them to demonstrate that no matter what he put in the profile, he got responses from guys looking for a root, it was funny stuff

I'm confused - MySpace don't actually ask for any personal contact details except an email address .... and its easy to get a free email address for such purposes that u only ever use for signing up to such sites ..... then they can spam u as much as they want - it all gets lost in the millions of viagra, penis extension emials

I'm ok with people having identity paranoia, there are issues - but I don't think this one is actually that bad .... myspace makes u put up with the ad banner at the top and they'll use your interests for that - so what? no diff to every other free website on the net (like this forum)

But how did they get my other e-mail and assign it a password and everything? They even got my name right.

i don't even like the chaser, my point of that link was to show fish that it is a common occurance for a band, comedian, friend to use myspace to bring their community up to speed on shows, events in the lives.

i have no idea how they got into your email eele, is there anyone who may have wanted to set one up on your behalf for a joke? :-k

the only information myspace has from me is a hotmail address i never use, a first name, a last name initial, and a love of football... if they want to send me news according to that infomation, i encourage them! it'd probably be more information then i'd get from the bloody club!! :fist:

i think the size and popularity of myspace has scared people, but as far as i can see, it's unwarranted
