I'd call me band "Various Artists", but then those wankers at HMV would probably have trouble filing our CD in the right spot...

I loved the name of the band that David Brent from The Office fronted: "Forgone Conclusion", their label was "Juxtaposition Records"...

Name: "Curtain Rod"
Style: "Progressive Rock" (the most incorrectly used genre)

Gotta love bands named after random inaminate objects. Was my choice for a band name back in the High School days, for some reason no one else shared my enthusiasm.

There are a number of definitions for the term progressive when used in relation to music. For me, it needs to be something out of the norm which usually means demonstrating some genuine talent. Thus, in modern day terms, a band such as Dream Theater fit well into the genre.

Thoughts?
