They dont just play in an inferior league, there an inferior RL nation with inferior RL players. You dont go 34 years without beating Australia, and still keeping your tag as a credible RL nation. Yes there a couple of top class players but these guys still are not as good as there Aus counterparts. The day GB players gain some respect in my eyes will be the day they beat Aus in a series or more Englishman come over to prove themselves in the NRL.

What so special about this Sonny Bill Williams?

Why doesnt anyone talk about Anthony Tupou who had a better season and better performance than Sonny Bill in the GF.

Sonny Bill Williams is just an overrated 19 year old forward who is going to flop at the bulldogs.

Bullsh!t. Sonny-Bill is a freak. Tupou would be the next best young forward by some distance though, no doubt. His footwork, strength and off-loading ability is awesome and he'll be an Aus rep for some time. He did come up with the biggest game breaking play in the GF, but apart from that was the victim of all the dropped ball.

Sonny-Bill was great in the GF. Looked dangerous all the time. He also had a great season when not injured. Make no mistake about it, he has the potential to be an immortal.

i see Porkypine's point: there's little Sonny Bill has done this year that Anthony Tupou hasn't, apart from some mean shoulder charges in defence. That's enough for me to say that yeah, Sonny Bill is better, but not enough for me to say there's a big difference between them IMO: Sonny Bill first, Anthony Tupou a close second.
