Well it is the end of another season. Fans have already called for sackings and changes to the team.

So time to name your side for 2008. Can be what you think it will be, or what you would like to see. Be Realistic of Course.

1. Luke Patten
2. Hazem El Masri
3. Willie Tonga
4. Daryl Millard
5. Brent Crisp
6. Daniel Holdsworth
7. Brent Sherwin
8. Chris Armit
9. Michael Sullivan
10. Willie Mason
11. Sonny Bill Williams
12. Andrew Ryan
13. Reni Matuia

14. Ben Roberts (as dummy half)
15. Lee Ta Maari
16. Nick Kouparitsis
17. Jarrod Hickey

Folkes wont make massive changes....waiting for sherwin/el masri to finish up i reckon. Sherwins contract to finish up at end of 2008. Save $$$$$ on Cap. El Masri to break pointscorers record and then retire. Not sure about new forward recruits just yet. Will need 2 on bench...will wait and see.

Brent Crisp isn't all that quick.

Heka Nanai and Tim Winitana have already been blooded. They might have a crack.
We have quite a few youngsters who look the goods as well as some good signings. the answer might come from one of them.

Actually Patten does have a solid kicking / passing game...he just does not have to use these traits as he is the current fullback.

Just because a guy plays on the wing /fullback / lock ...does not mean that they don't posess a kicking / passing game.

Why are you picking on the Bulldogs for? Did you see how many stars the Broncos lost FIRST year after GF? 6 stars. Doggies lost only a couple first year after GF - Anasta, Charlie Tonga, Lolesi. Price and Thurston don't count as they were lost during the GF year.

I don't think your mob could go to wrong putting Kouparitsas into five eight. Played a lot of his lower grade career at 13 and 6 and has some very good ball skills.

I somewhat agree, however, I think he's more into playing in the backrow now.

Would love to see Roberts playing as an impact playmaker, his light stepping could really cause havoc with tiring teams, don't have him in the starting line up because i don't think he has the consistency in his game to run a team.

:crazy::crazy::crazy:

is that a gee-up? Ryan in the front row

Ryan has only ever been effective when running on the fringes and at backs. Put him in the front row and you'd be pretty much ending his career

just my opinion but i think Ryan will suit the front row, he hasn't been that fast this season and has had a poor season compared to his standards.
