Yes i know napa was binned under original rule. Radley was binned under the above (the only player ro have been binned under said rule) and something like the chambers incident would also qualify as would any number of incidents this year.
From the NRL in that article:
"These are serious incidents, really significant tackles off the ball that are late and are dangerous. Players can expect to be sin binned"

The only mention of crusher tackles in that article is from Lockyer. The bumping up of power to use the bin seems to be around late hits on playmakers. None of which relates to Chambers' crusher on Hayne.

And Radley was binned for a late hit. Soooo consistent.

Yes that was the impetus but the article states it can be used for any inncident of foul play for example tackles resulting in HIA etc.

The other issue is there have been plenty of other late hits as bad or worse than radley, none of which were binned

They basically gave Napa the green light to keep tackling players with his head by not charging him earlier in the season.

They have warning letters I believe. I'd be astounded if Napa didn't get one after the earlier incident, especially given Greenberg specifically commented on the incident. Otherwise he could use it as a precedent in the judiciary.

Simple misconduct ruling

Reckless or careless contact with the head once again

Until suspension is handed down he wont change his tackling style

Napa has a reputation of being a dirty player hence why he was put on report on suspicion by referee Sutton.
If I was referee this game he would have been sent off.
The dirty thug always looks to deliberately hurt other players.
Dirty Dylin strikes again.
BUMP !!!!

Look forward to all head clashes now being suspended. Graham would have been gone for his clash with burgess

Why are people this geniused? You aren't allowed to lead with the head and if he didn't knock him out with his head he would have knocked him out with his shoulder.

You get 2 weeks for bumping someone in the chest with your shoulder now, this sort of contact with the head needs a big suspension, accident or not (why do people even say this? Most foul play is accidental, should we stop penalising high tackles?)

Not unbelievable a precedent has been set. I thought his 1 st one on sims was worse and needed action. I thought he had his head sideways on this and hit him cheek to jaw as the photo showed. I don’t think some would lead with their cheek first.
