To suggest they were a potential top 4 team is ludicrous.

Top 8 yes but not a great squad.

It's a shame for Browny because he's done a good job after the mess he walked into.

The Knights need an experienced coach not a rookie one.

Was Brad Arthur an experienced head coach when he arrived at Parra?

No Bradley Arthur wasn’t an experienced head coach, but he was highly recommended by Geoffrey (Geoff) “Tooves” Toovey. He hasn’t done much for the Parramatta Eels in his time there so far.

He’s done better than the previous two blokes who had the job before him.

FMD, before this season I thought Brown and Newcastle will need this year to build on combinations, and to figure out their strengths and weaknesses.

I find it totally surprising that Brown was pushed out the door.

Is Shaun Wane an option?

If Wane got the job, they wouldn't play the prettiest football in the NRL, but they'd have a solid defence and they'd run through brick walls. Early carries will be done by outside backs scooting from dummy half and hitting the ground as soon as possible to get a speedy play the ball, props are basically there as tacklers, not ball carriers.

I'm not sure about that. The only real metric of Parra's success is spoons (being the only thing they ever win). All 3 have managed 1 spoon but Arthur has had longer to achieve this.
