Can't see how it wont be an issue.

You still have to dribble with the hand and control the shot.

Surely he'll be out of sync.

Lot been written the last couple of days of how Dirk favours dribbling left and uses the hand to defend so it's going to affect him, maybe not in shooting but there's more to the game than just shooting.

No matter what else happens, Dirk HAS to rebound better. The days of him getting by grabbing 7, 8 boards isn't good enough, particularly with their 3 guard line-up. In this situation, the great forwards (Bird, Duncan etc) would go out and grab 15+ boards in this game so that has to be his goal. Control the boards, they're in with a better shot.

Agreed Tiger Hawk, he has to do it on both ends and be aggressive on the boards. Not long to go for game 2 now.

Nasty follow-up dunk by Lebron after a Bibby miss.

Heat looking good. Mavs doing a good job with Dirk sitting.

Tied 28-28 at the end of the 1st

Those open shots Terry missed could be crucial down the stretch. Everytime Dallas get a chance to pull away Miami come back, that one handed shot from James on the and-1 was incredible

Man I feel bad for the Mavs. They ran their offense far better than the Heat did, but as TT said, they just missed some wide open shots. In constrast, Heat's offense looked ragged, but their tied 51-51 at the half thanks to Lebron and in particular Wade. Wade really dominated once Lebron went to the bench with 3 fouls.

That was a bit worrying for the Mavs. Heat just turned up a gear and have a 57-52 lead. Dirk needs to get it going.

It was all those turnovers in the 3rd that hurt the Mavs. 6 or 7 I think?
They got a few shots to stick towards the end though, back within 4.

Yeah agreed.

Thus far, the Heat have scored 23 points of the 16 team turnovers from the Mavs.

Gonna take some special for the Mavs to come back now. Heat up 88-73 with 7 to go.

Mavs going small hasn't exactly worked out for them. Great game from Wade so far; 36 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks.

Lebron's quietly been pretty effective as well. Another poor offensive night from Bosh, but it doesn't seem to matter.

Dumb turnovers aswell but credit to the Heat D for forcing them. Dallas have missed far too many open shots and Lebron has nailed some incredible shots off poor possessions.

Mavs should be squaring the series but they're now looking at 0-2
