We don't have a real PG. Even when Chalmers is there Lebron and Wade are the primary ball handlers.

And Ray will pretty much always just be guarding the worst perimeter player, against the Lakers he'll be defending the PG, against the Celtics and Bulls the SG, against Brooklyn, the SF.

The lineup I said in my previous post will be our 5 in crunch time but what positions everyone plays will vary from situation to situation.

We have a very flexible team.

Welcome Steve Nash. I have a feeling Howard will be next and I think with Nash coming it gives us a massive chance of landing him. I know he is old but he is what we have needed at the Lakers for a long time, not only a brilliant passer but he can SHOOT!!!!

I generally try and stay away from you because you are the poorest attempt at a troll I have ever seen but ok I will bite. You do not think the Lakers getting Nash helps their cause of getting Dwight? Do you not think that the Magic might want Bynum over Lopez? Derp. All those players you mentioned "declining" > Boston who are still riding high. Nash made Gortat look good imagine what he can do for Gasol...

If I am LA I take the risk on Dwight opting out because you still can offer a better deal next year if he wants to test the market and worse case you S&T him.

If Dwight does not sign a new deal then no I do not think they need to take Hedo or any salary on. Essentially they would be giving the Magic Bynum for a dude who is going to walk.

Also the Suns have signed Beasley. What a day for the suns lol.. Lose Nash and get Beasley :lol:

I still can't believe Nash is going to be a Laker. People can say his defense is crap etc. but us Laker fans don't care, he still is playing at a high level, will get all our guys better looks, takes so much pressure off Kobe to do everything in the back court and have I mentioned that he can SHOOT

Wouldn't call it a home run yet. There's no question that Nash makes Bynum and Gasol better. That's what I'm most looking forward to about the trade.

What I'm interested to see is how Kobe reacts to playing with a great PG. Hasn't played with a good/great PG (unless you count Olympics) since Van Exel, and that was still in his infant years. Should be fun either way.
