One thing is for sure if LeBron and Wade team up - they wouldn't need a traditional point guard. Those two could do all the creating, leave Chalmers (or any other minimum contract free agent like Jason Williams) to spot up to shoot threes and defend. Mike Miller would be a great small ball fit (Wade-Chalmers-Bosh-James-Miller), but there's no way he's signing for the minimum when he could get offers well above the MLE elsewhere. If they can hang onto Beasley and use him as a scoring 6th man, they'll be pretty freaking awesome as well, not to mention bring back Haslem on the minimum (something I reckon he'd be willing to do). Maybe Juwan Howard to rebound and defend, and / or Kurt Thomas. One of those guys will take the minimum somewhere to contend for a ring. So players like J-Will, Haslem, Howard and Thomas would be prepared to take the minimum IMO (at their age they're not getting big money from anyone). They're your veterans to get to a solid 9-man rotation. Then you take your three second round picks from this year's draft and / or other second round picks that aren't picked up by other teams and you get up to the league minimum of 13 players.
3 stars / superstars, a former 2nd overall pick, 5 other rotational players and the best available young talent you can get your hands on to develop and learn from James / Wade / Bosh. Might not dominate every night but that should get to 60+ wins and definitely competes for the title.
