That isn't a bad deal really.

Hedo is good he is just not used properly in Toronto.

I just want to know where Brian Scalabrine is going! haha

Turkoglu could become the Suns' starting power forward in place of Stoudemire, allowing new acquisition Hakim Warrick to come off the bench with Childress, Channing Frye, Jared Dudley and Goran Dragic.

I think that is a damn good rotation.

Their bench will once again be their strongpoint.

Childress was drafted 7th overall in 2004 from memory......now he's only worth a 2nd round pick. Appreciate that Hawks have their hands tied and don't want to match, but why participate in a S&T? For just a 2nd rounder & a trade exception? Suppose something's better than nothing....

That rotation is very, very soft. Especially when they could have tried to get Lee in a S&T for around the same price they will be paying.

I like Turk but his contract is hideous. I guess that means there is still hope that Brand could be moved?

Al Jeff also has a stigma about him that he can't win and he can only put up those stats in bad teams ala Sharif Abdur-Rahim. Plus shakey knees and a big contract...

He isn't a bad player to have but his value isn't as high as his stats would show.
his contract is fine ,only goes up a mill each year

btw blazers fans are split on mills half want him gone for some crappy rookie

Even if it only goes up a mill a year it's still a big deal... Also I think the problem with mills is his lack of size. I hope he sticks around as he is a gun on the 360 ;-) (and it's always good to see an Aussie do well)

Miller will put up huge numbers.

They'll be double teaming Wade and James...they can outlet to Miller on the wing and BOOM...free shot.

Smart guy.

Wouldn't be surprised if Miller went close to 50% shooting from deep next year. I also wouldn't be surprised with a Wade-Miller-James-Bosh-Haslem line-up to start. Haslem is undersized at centre but he's tough and strong and has range out to about 15-18 feet. He also used to defend centres before O'Neal was traded there and was respectable. Let's face it, how many effective scoring low post players are there in the NBA anyway? 5?

And just on that Wes Matthews deal with Portland.....that's a lot of money to be paying a guy to back-up Roy.

espn rumour mill says brad miller is meeting with the heat today and celtics tomorrow, but preference is to stay in chicago.
new york are tabling a trade for cps and melo, although they dont have much to offer.
deron williams will be seeking a trade from the jazz as early as today

Could definitely do that.

But probably a rotation with Bosh at Centre maybe.

I still think they'll get Brad Miller or Ilguaskas plus they'll bring Joel Anthony back

Spurs have apparently signed Tiago Splitter (former draft pick playing in Europe), Ben Wallace re-signs with Detroit for 2 years each at $1.9m.

Looks like Anthony Morrow will be S&T to the Nets for a trade exception instead of just signing as a FA.

That Hedo deal has expanded into a 3-teamer:

Suns get Hedo
Raptors get Barbosa, Tyson Chandler and Boris Diaw
Bobcats get Calderon and possibly Reggie Evans

Raptors team looking better already.

WOW!...Williams wants to leave the Jazz?

Seriously?

If I was Dallas I'd be on the phone quicksmart.

Him and Dirk together...wow..

Even if he lands in Cleveland he puts them back in the mix with a few more little pieces around him.

Clippers maybe? They have a good formation around him with good young pieces in Griffen, Bledsoe and Al-Farouq Aminu. YOu could trade Baron Davis & a 1st round for Derron Williams and you could have a starting rotation of:

C - Chris Kaman
PF - Blake Griffen
SF - Al-Farouq Aminu
SG - Eric Gordon
PG - Derron Williams

Then off the bench you have the likes of Gomes, Foye, Bledsoe, Cook, Jordon and Warren.

Its not bad at all!

He means Eric Gordon...

And no way Baron goes to Utah for Deron. The Utah would ask for Griffin in any package for D Will and the clippers would hang up.

Sorry yep Eric Gordon.

Yeah I agree no way the deal getgs done with the Clippers.

Just fun to imagine.

Maybe Timberwolves trading Jefferson, Flynn + Future 1st Rounder for him?

Then they can trade rights to Rubio to the Knicks for draft picks?
