I read quotes from Deron....he hasn't "demanded" a trade as yet, not at least publicly. He expressed his displeasure in seeing Boozer & Korver leave, and wants to see Utah re-stock where they've light on depth. I'd be pretty surprised if he's traded, Millsap is a decent replacement for Boozer alone, grab a big body floating around on the cheap and match Matthew's offer. Probably not as good as last year but not that much worse either.

Yes, Amir Johnson did re-sign. Way, way, way overpaid but re-signed.

sweet man, just saying what espn popped up on the insider, says he is going to ask for a trade in the next 48 hours.

If the Wolves accept that Magic trade......makes you wonder wtf they're doing. Why re-sign Darko, sign that Euro guy (Pekovic) and then trade for Gortat (better than Darko) and Bass, as well as keep Love? They'd go from having a crowded front-court (Al, Love, Darko & Pekovic) to a stupidly over-paid & crowded front-court (Love, Darko, Pekovic, Gortat & Bass). geniused.

With Dragic's rise as a player, I can understand why Barbosa would become expendable but taking on Hedo's contract. Yeesh.

Starting to put together a reasonable squad. Probably need a solid wing to be a playoff team (not to mention depth at the point) but a front-line rotation of Chandler-Bargnani-Diaw with Jack at the point full-time, Barbosa and Belinelli off the bench is reasonably solid, and balanced. If DeRozan can learn to shoot they could surprise some next year. Really like the Chandler-Bargnani pairing.

Also allows a big of cap flexibility if Barbosa and Diaw opt out after this season. Chandler is also an expiring this year so they could be a player next summer.

Oh, it was a 3 team trade. Interesting.

Wonder how Bargani will go now that he will become the No.1 scorer on the team.

He was pretty solid last year.......averaged in the high teams on solid %s from memory. Would expect his points to go up but his %s to dip slightly, just through shooting more as the number 1 option.

Also, Toronto have offered former Nuggets forward Linas Kleiza a deal (played in Europe last year). Wouldn't expect the Nuggs to match due to the tax situation. Really starting to like this rebuilding effort by the Raptors. I honestly feel as it's currently assembled that the team will be better next year than last year AND have some cap flexibility for next summer. Things are looking good.
